Hi mk9212, have patience, the only reason no one has replied back yet is probably because the ones online currently aren't aware of it.

Keep a check, someone aware will reply back soon.

All the best.

Thanks sir, but as per my information few got....I'm checking....

If you are an Indian Passport Holder, then nope not needed. You can put that anxiety to rest. :D
Thank you ! That sounded so much assuring :)

Friends,

I have two questions..

1. How will I show the settlement funds during landing, will they accept Indian FD and Bank certificate? My settlement funds is for 4 members so obviously above 10k cad.

2. I am planning to return after two weeks because i will not be able to stay for 6 weeks to get my PR cards. Can I give a friend's address for delivering PR cards? Won't they verify the recipient?

Would have suggested a Canadian bank account but as you are travelling back. Better to carry travellers cheque. So that you can get the funds back when you return. Wouldn't suggest Indian FD.

Friends address for PR should be fine. Haven't come across people reporting verification issues. Hope you are sorted with how you will return back without you PR card as the visa is only single entry.

For my baby I did it myself at home with normal digicam. I had set my camera to multiple shot, and selected the best one. And took it the photo lab for printing. Size shuld be 35mm X 45mm.

No Sir's here, only friends buddy :) :)
