Can you plz guide what to write under dependents column in ppr letter??
I am single.Do i need to write my parents name there?

Only spouse and dependent children less than 18 yrs age are considered dependents.

You need to write only your details as you are single.

In India, biometric and retinal details are already on record when the Passport is issued.
Not done again at PCC stage.

For US FBI PCC, they do need, For Indian PCC they do not require. Depends which country PCC you need.

BCG checks if any are usually(99.9%) between the 2nd and 3rd line.
I.e. 2nd line (We have started processing your application on xxxx)

However VO may still on occasions do a BCG or close it at a later stage.

Thanks buddy & +1 for the precious (atleast for me) information.

[blue]

for India, fingerprint scanning is done by the Passport office before issuing you the PCC. The then issue PCC which is a statement but doesn't include fingerprint scans.

I am already in Canada...I have sent my Indian Polica clearance (obtained form the Indian embassy, Vancouver) and the Canadian Police clearance too. However, heard some people discussing about the need for finger prints as well. Not sure.

Hi mk9212, have patience, the only reason no one has replied back yet is probably because the ones online currently aren't aware of it.

Keep a check, someone aware will reply back soon.

All the best.
