Ok, let me explain, when you apply for citizenship, you have to be present in Canada for atleast 4 years from the previous 6 years. You have to be physically present in Canada for atleast 183 days per year in these 4 years.

There are exemptions when you are not in Canada and working in some other country but working temporarily full time for a Canadian company or for a Canada government job purpose, then they still count those days as you have been in Canada when the time comes to apply for citizenship. So when they mean physically present means, you have to be actually physically present and not outside the country.

Yes, I did used Citi CC....I had informed them earlier in written that, there will be transaction from CIC of 1100CAD, and they should not block this.

You can do this by login to your account or calling customer care.

I hope this will help you.

Thanks so much buddy.I hv sent you a PM.

Yes, PR conditions still remain 2 years of the preceding 5 years.
Time starts from date of completing landing procedures.

thxss canOl.. +1to you

101%.
The 1% extra is for assurance.
No point asking for Passports if they were to not give you a Visa ehh !!
7-14 days is the trend through VFS from submission to stamped passport along with COPR.

Hi guys I would like to ask I am on ppr stage what is the chances to have the visa?? How long will our passport will be return?? Thank you guys :)

Hi All,

I recently got the PR approved through FSW 2014 and the visa stamped in the passport is till Oct 10th. We live in USA and plan to do our landing through road sometime in July and stay there for a week and finish the rest of the formalities. I heard that sometimes the PR card gets lost in mail (either when being initially delivered at the address given or later when being forwarded to us in USA).

So the question I have is, as we have the visa till Oct 10th and if we don't get the PR card in hand by mid September can we re-enter Canada with the same visa and the CORP papers.

We are not from a Visa exempt country.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Ezapa

PR holders do need to take VISA for visiting USA but it is an easy process. You will have to submit the application form along with the required documents, fee of CA$160 and also attend an interview (just formalities). You will then be issued a multiple entry visa of 120 months (10 years).

Yes you can re-enter. Provided you are in a private vehicle, CoPR and Landing papers is what's needed.

Hello buddies,
I got my MR today for me and my wife from Paris VO. I have also received Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) and some documents request in separate emails.

I had some questions to ask in this regard:

1. Is there any deadlines to pay for RPRF?
2. They have asked for both applicants' detailed CV. Is there a specific format or pattern to follow for such a detailed resume?
3. Information concerning military service, including rank, unit and location requested. What is the meaning of "Provide certificate of good conduct" and what a particular document should I provide for the proof?
4. Another thing that is requested is: "List all your activities (employment, studies, unemployment, vacation, etc.) during the periods indicated below. You must precise your tasks and responsibilities, name of the firm, of your employer, place of work and give precise dates (month/year) without interruption". Should I fill a form for this?
5. My second line hasn't been updated yet. Is that weird?

SS also updated.

Reposted.
