Hi frndz.
I was busy in post landing arrangements so could not update on forum.
I have landed here in Toronto on 28 Feb15.
Landing process was very easy and quick
1. Ask for residential address in Canada.PR card will be delivered on your residential address after 6 weeks.
2. Ask for funds proof.

I am staying with my frnd here and searching for job. Consultancies here, I didnt find the quick one because all ask for your resume and let you wait unlill they get some opportunity. Job search process is bit hard in these days due to extreme winters as you can just walkin and lookout for the companies.
In case any queries then send me personal message. I am more than happy to help.

I am Toronto, BTW any of our forumite also landed here?

Hello Friends,

Currently I am waiting for PPR, and I am expecting it before the end of April 2015.

Notice period in my current company is 2 months. I feel, after getting the visa stamped, spending each n every day will be waste of time n money. I have put all my savings for this crucial step of my life. So, I want to go there within 15 days from the day I receive my passport and start hunting job.

For this scenario, I have planned to apply for resignation in the mid of March, so I ll be relieved by the mid of May and fly there, by the end of the May.

So seniors, please throw some light here. Am I doing the right thing or should I wait till I get my PPR. What did u guys do (or) what will u guys do if you were in my situation.

Hello Everyone,

I'm waiting to receive passport request. I & my wife are living in Canada, but my Daughter is living in India( Went for vacation).

I have updated with few documents to CO-Ottawa about my daughter's travel. But no response from them.
Is there any chance that they will request my daughter's passport to be sent to Delhi CIC office instead of Ottawa?

If they request me to send my daughter's passport only to Ottawa, How do I proceed further.

If I was not able to submit my daughter passport in ottawa, Will they be able to stamp only mine & my wife passport ? Or will they ask all three of us together. Is there any chance of rejecting my PR if I dont produce my daughter passport.

I saw posts related to passport query in this thread. Can you share your experience and How did you handle this situation. Could you please help us here.

Pretty much good idea, you are almost about to receive PPR. But, If I were you, I would not submit my resignation until I get the PPR....just my 2 cents

Yes, it is completely ok to land anywhere (except Quebec) regardless of what you mentioned in your application. You do not have to travel to mentioned place in the application at all.

Very nice to se 16 PPR's DM's.

Great Job NDVO. 8) . It is quite impressive speed shown by NDVO in last few weeks.
As expected, they are busy in clearing pendency of May, June, July files as they must have some TAT for FSW.

2nd line update/MR seekers like me : don't get upset. Many applicants were waiting for DM/PPR's from last 6-7 months.

Keep blessing all who are waiting for the positive updates from their respective VO's.

I would like to say few line :

Come on NDVO, start doing work during odd hours. if you need any support, please join this forum and we have quality of experts from every field.

Hi Seniors,

I am awaiting second line update. However, I have submitted docs. related to name addition of my new born child, new job and change n country with DD INR8,200 to NDVO.

Now, I am worried if they might have not changed my VO to any other Visa office as in case of others......I have already raised CSE yesterday.....but no acknowledgement........

Please advise what should be done.......Really worried.
