Because I had been waiting for the medical request form for my child since 21ST Feb... (On 21st Feb THE DD sent to include my newborn child in my application was cashed by the NDVO...)

But no reply from their side .... Thats why I opted for upfront medical for my child...

Will it be an issue??????????????

Hi Goku - I had a quick question. I completed my medical checkup on Feb 3, 2015. My third line is also updated. It was uploaded via eMedical. But I didn't receive any confirmation letter from the doctor. I sent to NDVO the receipt of the fees provided by the doctor's office of the Medical Checkup for 680 USD.

Should I ask the doctor's office for a confirmation letter even if it was eMedical?

By confirmation letter I mean Physician will give you a stamped Medical Request(IMM 1017E) form back, that you have to send to Local VO. In your case you don't need any such confirmation because you already cleared your medicals.

Hello Friends. Please advise me on this.

I am in USA, but my VO is NDVO. Considering this I have two options to get my passport stamped:

1. Send my passport to India along with my wife. Is it legal to do so? If yes, do I need to handover authorization letter to my wife?

2. Request NDVO to send transfer my file to NDVO. Is it possible? If yes, how long of a delay shall I expect?

Please advise me on the prudent option.

Your insight is highly appreciated.

I was busy in post landing arrangements so could not update on forum.
I have landed here in Toronto on 28 Feb15.
Landing process was very easy and quick
1. Ask for residential address in Canada.PR card will be delivered on your residential address after 6 weeks.
2. Ask for funds proof.

I am staying with my frnd here and searching for job. Consultancies here, I didnt find the quick one because all ask for your resume and let you wait unlill they get some opportunity. Job search process is bit hard in these days due to extreme winters as you can just walkin and lookout for the companies.
In case any queries then send me personal message. I am more than happy to help.

I am Toronto, BTW any of our forumite also landed here?

send by both email and courier to be safe. Also Send all page copies of your passports, new and old ones.

Should I ask them by sending an email on specifically which travel or my foreign stays they have doubt. how long they gonna take to respond me in this case. Or should I only send them email with all documents. What do you recommend. ?

How can I tell the NDVO about the upfront medical done for my child ?

Should I write NDVO some letter?

The medicals are uploaded by the physician against a IME number for each member in the application.I am not sure how a upfront medical will get linked to the file.I think you need a medical form for the new born before going for medicals.Any way you can write to visa office now for upfront medicals and wait for result.

Go for first option as NDVO takes a long time to respond for visa stamping at a different VO and you already have received PPR.

Very nice to se 16 PPR's DM's.

Great Job NDVO. 8) . It is quite impressive speed shown by NDVO in last few weeks.
As expected, they are busy in clearing pendency of May, June, July files as they must have some TAT for FSW.

2nd line update/MR seekers like me : don't get upset. Many applicants were waiting for DM/PPR's from last 6-7 months.

Keep blessing all who are waiting for the positive updates from their respective VO's.

I would like to say few line :

We shall Overcome, We shall overcome one day..... Deep in my breath, I do believe, We shall overcome one day.
