Hi everybody,

I want to ask if anyone here had experience on getting married after receiving PER? and before getting any AOR from the VO or MR..
Just want to know the Pros and Cons.
Planning to get married next month, and hoping somebody could shed light on what to expect like effect on the application, delays, additional documents needed, when to inform the VO, etc..

hopefully someone could help make this be clearer for me.
Thank You

I'm very worried, no communication from NDVO so far since 4th Feb'14. Its around 4 months still no sign of DM/PPR. On 4th Feb'15 a call came from NDVO asking about the my overseas PCC which reached them on 18th Nov'14. And since then no response I mailed them twice but no response, its not only frustrating but also depressing.

Don't understand what are they exactly doing with my application.

Please advice what to do now.

Are all items that you bring with you when you initially move to Canada duty-free? Even the stuff that you recently purchased?

Second that

Requestor has to residing in Canada, that's the mandate. However he can place a request on behalf basis authorisation letter from applicant (IMM5744E).

that's correct. But you can ask for gcms notes through someone already in Canada

Hi,

I have a question regarding divorce. I already have PER and waiting for MR. I have 72 pts, 5 for my wife's IELTS test.

Unfortunately, we are thinking of getting a divorce so, what should I do to inform my VO about these changes? Without the wife my application gets 67 pts.

Thanks.

Extremely sorry to hear about your divorce.
How to approach with updating VO, I will leave ti to the senior members to respond.

May I suggest you raise GCMS, you should have it in 30 days and then will know exactly the points given on you application. It will help you be doubly sure.
