Hi All,

I have been missing for the last week from the forum. I was tensed and stressed at not having recd my PPR mail.
I got DM on 19th Feb, however, no other updates of any kind till yesterday.
Our Canadian rep somehow didnt check his mails or something and the PPR issued on 20th Feb by NDVO didnt reach us till yesterday...it reached only because incessantly pushing our consultancy here in India to cross check.

Finally a blessing...received my PPR mail!!!
Already submitted my family's and my passports with VFS.

During this time, a lot of people from the forum and off the forum have been a very strong support.

Amitesh
Jubin
Resfinn
Most importantly, My Lord Jesus!!!

God bless all with their wait for PR.
Congratulations to all receiving PER, MR, DM, PPR.

Thank you Jesus

Thanks Sir,

PER 17th nov, waiting for Nxt update.
but i seen lot of people are getting MR just after 8 days file transfer, that means they checked all the docs before PER.
May my HR was right.
Dear MK,
its depends on case to case.
There will be second line update after PER which takes around 90 days for me. Then it takes around 30 days to get the MR once second line is updated.

I ran into an annoying question.
I submitted my app under FSW on December 16, 2014 and got charged on Feb. 7,2015. Now, I am waiting for per.
Originally, I got almost 10 years of work experience, which was supposed to get the full point of 15 for more than 6 years. Unfortunately, I just found my first job was not within NOC 0AB, it may not be counted on (originally I got 67 points, and now it is only 66 points ). Accordingly, I only have a period of 5 years 11 months, which was one month less than 6 years for full points.
As for my total hours of work per week are 40 hours (CIC regulates at least 30 hours per week equivalent to 1560 hours per year for one year full time work)
I am wondering how cic will calculate the work experience. Is it on a hourly basis or just yearly-counted. If it is calculated on a hourly basis, I can still meet the demand for 6 years. (40 hours per week * 52 weeks= 2080 hours per year)
Otherwise, I may get refused.

Have been rolling based on that hope. :P

Since, they have rolled out PPR today, hoping for the MR this week.

No application will be rejected post PER due to CAP limit. Getting PER means your application made it through CAP limit. If CAP is reached for a particular NOC, then the fee is not deducted and the file is returned.

Fee is deducted post preliminary completeness check and that when CIC generates a UIC no. The fact that your application is appearing as in-progress in ecas means that it has already made it within CAP limit.

Hi kanu,

Yes there is an overall cap of 25000 and NOC cap of 1000 applications. However, once you receive PER email that means you have made it in the cap. You will not be rejected post PER stage based on cap.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
LazyBoy

Hi i have responded to someone here as well with a similar concern with yours. Hope my response as per below you might find useful..

kanu,

Did you got your PER, if yes welcome to waiting club.
Most Probably Oct applicants may start getting MR from April End or 1st week of May vary from case to case.

NOC 2281 is capped some where in third week of NOV.

Hope i have answered your quiries ..

Good Luck.

WOW some replies after all :)

The thing is that my consultant got an email from CIC asking for the application fee again, somehow they didn't like my Bank Draft. But I sent them my credit card details again using a prescribed form. So still no fee has been charged from my Credit card and no PER received till date. Someone said they had the same situation but got PER after 2 Weeks. I sent them a reply on 21st Feb 2015.
Any timelines?? Hoping something good next week.

sammanne,

Im pretty sure going by current trend most probably get MR request in first week of April.

Thanks,
Yameen
