Hello friends:

Finally!!!!! I have received my PPR email.

DM on March 4th
PPR on March 5th
VO: NDVO.

Thanks a lot to all of you lovely, helpful people. I pray that all of reach the destination soon.

Now my dilemma. I am in USA, but my VO is NDVO. Considering this I have two options to get my passport stamped:

1. Send my passport to India along with my wife. Is it legal to do so? If yes, do I need to handover authorization letter to my wife?

2. Request NDVO to send transfer my file to NDVO. Is it possible? If yes, how long of a delay shall I expect?

Please advise me on the prudent option.

Your insight is highly appreciated.

Cheers!

bxgh

Chemical, Congrats and +1 to you !!
Hope your ppr acts as a catalyst to ignite this Chemical chain reaction
Not really aware of stamping formalities for people out of India, but as per few forumites, passport can be shipped in and out of India only with authorization letter. However request you to check with Indian consulate or embassy regarding this.

Dont be de motivated , please VO to work on your case/application, they are also humans like us.

Pray for each other dont be jealous if some applicant who applied after you got MR or PPR.

Each VO and its assigned officer differs in their approach.

So All the best to aspirants of canadian dreams. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Need some information guys.

There is an overall CAP and individual CAP for all the NOC right. So I was wondering if the applicants from May, June, July, August, September all get their PR then does it increases the change of an October Applicant to be rejected at a later stage. As I still haven't gotten my PER email but found out my application number and saw the ECAS showing in process and only 1st line updated. So does this mean I am within their CAP coz I checked other threads and found that some people had called and got to know that for my NOC 2281 the CAP was reached at around 20 Nov 2014.
Any inputs Seniors???

Till now I had asked 3 questions in this thread but got no answer. But i'll die tryin ;D

No application will be rejected post PER due to CAP limit. Getting PER means your application made it through CAP limit. If CAP is reached for a particular NOC, then the fee is not deducted and the file is returned.

Fee is deducted post preliminary completeness check and that when CIC generates a UIC no. The fact that your application is appearing as in-progress in ecas means that it has already made it within CAP limit.

Thanks CanOl firstly i have to resign n serve the notice period for 2 months ..........

mostly thinking of landing in June and yes i have a question for u please help on this?

I m planning to land in JUNE and my husband vl b joining aftr 3 4 months so vl it be fine for us to land separately??

can i receive his PR card??? or aftr 3 4 months when he lands vl he b issued his PR card at that time???

it is perfectly fine to land separately, but in that case ensure that the primary applicant lands first. Not vice versa.
Your husband will be issued pr card only after he lands.
