Hey everybody, would like to share our experience today to send our Passports.

SPVO allows walk-ins, and I live 20 minutes away from them, so we decided it would be better to take our PPs in person.

My wife and I went to the Consulate today morning. They are in a gorgeous building on the 16th floor: http://goo.gl/3aKIhh

We went up and there was nobody at the room, just a very nice teller waiting to help us. He asked us why we were there, then asked to see our Passports, our cover letter, the RPRF form, and how we would like to get our passports back. We told him that we would like to pick them up.

He looked at a Calendar and asked if the 10th March would be ok or if we were in a hurry. I said it was ok and he said perfect, just come buy the 10th on the afternoon and everything will be ready.

The whole thing took about 3 minutes, extremely smooth. Couldn't be happier .

Congrats all, who got good news for the one step forward.


All the best to all, who are waiting!!

I got PER on 17th Feb. After that nothing till now. I am from India and worried about VO where my file got transferred. No second line update till now.

• Approx. what time it will take for AOR? And what time for next step if AOR not sent?
• From which e-Mail ID AOR is being sent? What will be the subject line and message?
• I am wearing lances with (-)7.5 both side. Will that impact my medical negatively? Should I go for LASIK eye surgery before that?

Good Morning socc3rguy, I am a silent member of this forum. My application date is June 18th. I received PER mail on Oct 21st and ECAS showed processing started on Dec 3rd. After that no news. i am so frustated. Don't now what to do, Pls guide me what to do.
