[size=13pt]After getting passports back you check if there is visa in it


Book a flight to canada, finish your landing formalities.

apply for PR card and if am not wrong the visa is valid for 5 years and can be renewed, however after 2 years of continuous stay in canada of 4 years you are eligible to apply for citizenship.

you are eligible for Citizenship after 3 years of stay in Canada in preceding 4 year period.
this might also be changed soon.

Dear friends got my passport with visa today. Passport sent through vfs on 23rd feb, reached ndvo on 25th feb, dispatched pp on 2nd by ndvo and passport collected by me today. One question in form i have mentioned my destination to edmonton but now i am planning to go to toronto, any problem on this...?

No problem. You can land anywhere in Canada except Quebec.

there is no limit. you just have to declare over 10000 CAD at the Customs.

PS. just received my weekly -6. I wish CPC-O revisited my file each 168 hours like the forum retard does in case of my profile. lol

Hye rajneeshv......sorry to say...even i dont want to b a spoil sport....but i know dats not d end of world....but obviously if you hav applied....u might be havin some dreeam and goals wen u applied...same for me...your statement should be a generalised one...you cannot comment on someone's circumstances. ..personal or professional. ..u never know wat problems i was going through...u never know wat dis dream canada hold for me...i was prepared for everything...

Monika, I can understand your excitement. The almost 7-8 months process is at its culmination point. Obviously you can't remain calm at such times.
But at the same time would agree with Rajneesh that health is of utmost importance.

Why do you want to reissue your passport now??? When is it expiring.

I guess If you reissue visa now, you might have to get your visa re-stamped on the updated passport. Besides, if validity of your visa had been an issue, VO had asked you to extend it in the first place before stamping the visa.

If your passport validity is not affecting your travel plans to Canada, I would suggest to use the existing passport and get it re-issued from within Canada.

If at all PP needs to be renewed, it should be before COPR issuance.

PPR received and passport sent for visa stamping.

In my application, I have showed around 15000 Canadian Dollars in FD in my account. Till date no one has rechecked that amount in my account. But, I have taken back that amount after three months in my account. Now, my question is whether I have to keep the same amount in my account in FD again or is it sufficient if I carry that amount as bank draft or canadian dollars wit me during my travel to Canada?

Hello everyone....

was out of touch for sometime and couldn't update you on some important status changes.

I completed my Medical on 26th December 2014, Submitted fees on 15th January, received Passport request on 28th January, Submitted passport to VFS on 2nd February 2015 and received passport today (4th March 2015).

Though I was never very active, i used to read all the comments and those really helped me though out the process. Best wishes for everyone on pipeline.

I know i run the risk of sounding desperate but anybody from november received AOR or MR emails yet? What are the timelines after receiving PER email for Nov applicants? Are they still being transferred to warsaw or coloumbo?

What are the sender's email addresses for AOR/MR requests?
