Hello seniors...i have a query. ..how much is required to be taken with us to canada for two people ....us 10000 CAD d limit for one or two people....thanx in advance...

there is no limit. you just have to declare over 10000 CAD at the Customs.

PS. just received my weekly -6. I wish CPC-O revisited my file each 168 hours like the forum retard does in case of my profile. lol

Got 'Decision Made' this morning !!!

Application Date :- 16th May, 2014
PER :- 8th Oct, 2014
Medicals :- 1st week of Nov, 2014.
Added newborn to the application :- 1st week of Novmber.
Medicals for new born :- 2nd week of November.
FBI PCC :- Submitted on 15th Jan, 2015.

Decision Made :- 4th Mar, 2015.

Diplo's response is when you are taking the currency in cash. However with 2 people, you need to ensure that in cash/CAD bank / TC or any other form, you carry the minimum FSW POF you shared in your file. Forgetting the exact figure but I think it was CAD 17000 - CAD 18000.

Happy to announce that I received my golden PER 2 hours back!
My time line:- app date 17 Dec.. CC charged 9 feb.. PER 4 March..

You now need to have those funds along or readily available when you enter Canada.
FD wont work. Suggest either of the other options line CAD , in Cand bank account or Travellers cheque. Not sure of a bank draft though.

PPR received and passport sent for visa stamping.

In my application, I have showed around 15000 Canadian Dollars in FD in my account. Till date no one has rechecked that amount in my account. But, I have taken back that amount after three months in my account. Now, my question is whether I have to keep the same amount in my account in FD again or is it sufficient if I carry that amount as bank draft or canadian dollars wit me during my travel to Canada?

For sure you are not out of the race buddy.
Usual reason for delay post 2nd line would be a BCG, so asvise that you erach out to your refrences and company and advise them of a possible call or visit.
Reasons for the delay could be varied as they are case specific and it's best not to guess.
Raise a GCMS extract request. Search the forum to know the procedure.

I'm June 10 applicant with PER on Oct 07 and Dec 01 Second line update, still waiting for MR, raised CSE on Jan31, no response however.... quite worrying indeed, are we out of the game by all means? Experts pls do advise, or anyone else who waited this long or even longer and got the MR finally?

Depends a lot on the stage or the process you are in.
Still always good to inform VO.
Rasie a CSE advising them of the same with notarised scanned copies of the erstwhile employers releasing letter and you new employers joining letter.
