are u sure it'll be useful? i'll just get to know why it is pending and nothing else :(

Friend you need to check the following

1. Is your file is assigned to an officer
2. is there a mis-representation check going on
3. Have they requested additional info from you - did you miss that -

There are so many questions which you can never find answers unless you have the GCMS . again its an individual choice friend . Good Luck

Dear All,

I just got an email yesterday for NDVO requesting for interview in 30 days (April 2nd).

Have few queries if anyone could help:

1. The letter says - bring completed immigrant application forms (IMM8) with schedule 1 and the Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) for your spouse and each dependent child 18 years of age and over irrespective of whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not.

I am the only applicant in my FSW application. My husband is already in Canda as PR and have no kids. Do I still need to submit these forms for my husband??

2. The letter says - your spouse and all dependent children 18 years and over must attend the interview with you. - Does my husband need to attend this interview along with me?

3. The letter says - Height and eye color information for all eligible dependents as per the enclosed form- I have not received any form with the email. Do I need to bring this information to the high commission during my interview? If yes, what is the format?

4. The letter says - Six photos, as per the enclosed instructions, for each person included in your application. Are these photos per the same standard as the ones submitted earlier along with the application?

5. For employer's references, can I bring the original reference letters (photocopies of which I submitted in my application), or do I need to get fresh reference letters from the supervisor?

6. provident fund receipts- what is this? I do not have this. Is this mandatory?

7. The letter says - Please also bring supporting evidence of your past employment- for this, will pay slips and employer reference letter be enough? What other documents can I carry? I have print outs of payslips (not originals)

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Best Regards

If you are/were employed in a organisation where , PROVIDENT FUND is deducted, and you have a PF number, you can take a online print out of PF statement from EPFO site. You can approach HR deptt. for pf stattement. NDVO wants to confirm that documents submitted for employment are genuine.

that's my concern that i'll only get to know the reason why no update so far... it won't help to push my case.

does anybody else suggest to raise a GCMS request?

There are many people who have not received second line update yet from august, july and few from june too, i would suggest you to wait for a week atleast and then raise GCMS.

I am the only applicant in my FSW application. My husband is already in Canda as PR and have no kids. Do I still need to submit these forms for my husband?? I suppose they would have this info already with them since you would have given his information in your application

2. The letter says - your spouse and all dependent children 18 years and over must attend the interview with you. - Does my husband need to attend this interview along with me? I am not sure on this answer, but how will he attend since he is already in canada

3. The letter says - Height and eye color information for all eligible dependents as per the enclosed form- I have not received any form with the email. Do I need to bring this information to the high commission during my interview? If yes, what is the format? They should send this form in the follow-up email. If they dont send it in day or so, send them a mail asking for this

4. The letter says - Six photos, as per the enclosed instructions, for each person included in your application. Are these photos per the same standard as the ones submitted earlier along with the application? Yes, this should be like the initial photos

5. For employer's references, can I bring the original reference letters (photocopies of which I submitted in my application), or do I need to get fresh reference letters from the supervisor?Yes, originals

6. provident fund receipts- what is this? I do not have this. Is this mandatory?Did you provided provident fund as your Proof of fund? They need receipts for the amount you have in the PF

7. The letter says - Please also bring supporting evidence of your past employment- for this, will pay slips and employer reference letter be enough? What other documents can I carry? I have print outs of payslips (not originals) Bring as many documents you have in this regards, reference letter, your appointment letter, salary slips.etc

Any help would be highly appreciated.
