Dear Friends,

I'm extremely glad to let you know that I've been glued to this forum right after filing my application for FSWP 2014 in June last year. I'm extemely thankful to all the senior members specially CanOl, Ashifee, Oscar, Diplu, Manish, Palak, Vind and many more.(Please forgive me if I missed any senior member) You guys rock!! and can beat most of the paid agents out there when it comes to giving the right advice concerning our specif queries.

I hired an agent to file my application but it was this forum that helped me be patient and motivated throughout the whole process.

I'm glad to inform that I received PPR on 27th Feb 2015. Below is my timeline.

NOC- 2173
Application filed - 11 June 2014
PER - 8th October
2nd line update - 27th Nov
MR - 16th Dec
MR completed - 30th Dec
3rd Line update - 5th Jan.
RPRF PCC and Medical proof sent to NDVO- 6th Jan
RPRF DD encashed - 13th Jan
PPR Received by agent- 27th Feb
4th line update(DM) - 2nd March
3rd line update - 5th Jan

I just have one question - I filled through an agent and now the agent forwarded me the PPR email. Can I submit the passport to VFS on my own or do I still need my agent to represent me for passport stamping?

Regards,

Congrats. journey is almost complete now. +1 to you !!
Thanks for mentioning my name, :) but please, I am no senior. Just an applicant like everyone else. :)

You can submit passports on your own to VFS. No need to get the consultant in between.

PCC from anywhere in the country is fine as long as you get it...

Thanks for your suggestion.
Please answer one more question..
IS PCC required for my one year old son or not

PCC not required for minors...

Not entirely, you see in my case, it's 3. My representative's local Canadian address is what's mentioned. The permanent address I gave is my address in India.

Hence, I asked the question to understand if there is a reason why some are seeing 2 addresses while some are not.

Deltario, I'm case 1. NDVO applicant transferred to Warsaw. Can still see just 1 address.
I guess it's done batchwise and will reflect for everyone within a specific time frame.

Lets not waste time thinking too much about this update. :)

Hey guys just want to check, whether from VFS, anyone who will carry that VFS receipt slip can collect passports.

OR

Only primary applicant can collect it..

PCC from psk will do .You will get PCC from psk on the spot if the address is same as in passport .
So better plan a trip to your local psk from where your passport is issued .
Its saves quiet a bit of time.
Hope it helps.

thanks Idefix. You are being kind to have said this... :) :)
Real seniors / Gurus are the ones who are going or have already landed in Canada...
We will need their support and guidance

Hello

Let me share my experience of VFS pune. First of all ATM nearby VFS were not working and they don't accept cards. It made me rush to go some distance for ATM as it was already 3:30 and it closes at 4:00pm

Also since my wife is pregnant, I also attached medical certificate along with PPR letter for intimation to VO. This letter has details of expected date of delivery which was asked by VO in PPR. After reaching VFS it took me hardly 10-15 mins to finish submission. They had facility of photocopy and storage for helmet and laptops.

Finally left with a tracking receipt and person on window asked me to bring authorisation letter with me for collecting my wife's passport.

In a effort to figure out the 2 address mystery.

Which of the below holds true for you weather you have 2 addresses on E-Cas or not.

My case is number 3 as of now.

1. 2 addresses - NDVO applicant but transferred to WARSAW/COLOMBO
2. 2 addresses - Earlier address, i.e. Communication address was not a local Canadian address.
3. 1 address - Communication address is a local Canadian address.

This two address mystery is not much to talk about. In the Generic Application form there were 2 spaces for address – Mailing address and Communication Address. So, if these two addresses were different in our application, you would see both in ECAS.
Source- my own case :D
