In a effort to figure out the 2 address mystery.

Which of the below holds true for you weather you have 2 addresses on E-Cas or not.

My case is number 3 as of now.

1. 2 addresses - NDVO applicant but transferred to WARSAW/COLOMBO
2. 2 addresses - Earlier address, i.e. Communication address was not a local Canadian address.
3. 1 address - Communication address is a local Canadian address.

2 addresses are reflected on ECAS when we provide 2 different addresses that is one for communication and other residence or home address.
For Eg : i am put up at address x which is residence/home address and i have provided address y which might be permanent address for any communication.

In case your email id is not populated or entered properly the CIC would use the communication address to send you the updates on application via postal service.

If you have mentioned the communication and residence or home address as one and the same then you would have 1 address reflected on ECAS page.

thanks

No Buddy, that is not true as I have just one address but ECAS shows the same under Current and Mailing!

Not entirely, you see in my case, it's 3. My representative's local Canadian address is what's mentioned. The permanent address I gave is my address in India.

Hence, I asked the question to understand if there is a reason why some are seeing 2 addresses while some are not.

Hi friends,
It's true that PCC (as per our observation) holds the key for faster app processing. And we are discussing a lot about this.

But after giving a thought it came to my mind that if I had applied my app with PCC my file submission date would have been in September and not August. So in fact our actual time is the same.

So, off course submitting PCC makes a difference but we shouldn't be worried. Our fate right now is just to wait wait and wait.

Best of luck to all my friends who are in que like me. Hope we get good news soon

that was my assumption .. i was trying to find a logic and this is what i understood .. but i think they have listed all the address on the ECAS including the representative's... no idea what it signifies ... we will wait and watch ,,

Hello Seniors..
Need Advise...
I received my per mail on 18-feb...and now waiting for AOR..
I still have to apply for PCC for me and for my wife...
Please suggest the right time to apply for PCC....
Is PCC required for my one year old son ...

Pls apply for PCC now, though you might get Meds request around mid April- End April. I'm sure you don't want to run around for PCC once you get Meds and PCC request.
No PCC required for minors less than 18 years of age.

Congrats on your AOR.. !!

No you don't need to re submit PCC again, provided your case processing happens before the expiry of PCC. PCC validiy is 1 year from the issued date and it should not be more than 3 months old when you send your PCC with application.

I'm from SPVO and I got two addresses as well this morning. So it's not ND / Warsaw / Colombo specific.

I have applied through a Lawyer in Canada, have both Canadian an Brazilian addresses now.
