Dear seniors and friends, is there anymore May applicants awaiting DM/PPR other than me? ::).........bit worried :(........am I in this waiting list just because of my NOC-3112 , which I believe had not reported any DM/PPR ? ::) . Are they (NDVO) working according to NOC's ?

Dear seniors and friends please shed some light on it :'( :'( :'(

Hi Peter, according to SS there are around 120 May applicants waiting for DM/PPR . Don't worry mate... you will definitely get PPR in the next "round" of PPR shower from NDVO (I hope it starts soon !!)

Cheers!

Dear Friends,

I'm extremely glad to let you know that I've been glued to this forum right after filing my application for FSWP 2014 in June last year. I'm extemely thankful to all the senior members specially CanOl, Ashifee, Oscar, Diplu, Manish, Palak, Vind and many more.(Please forgive me if I missed any senior member) You guys rock!! and can beat most of the paid agents out there when it comes to giving the right advice concerning our specif queries.

I hired an agent to file my application but it was this forum that helped me be patient and motivated throughout the whole process.

I'm glad to inform that I received PPR on 27th Feb 2015. Below is my timeline.

NOC- 2173
Application filed - 11 June 2014
PER - 8th October
2nd line update - 27th Nov
MR - 16th Dec
MR completed - 30th Dec
3rd Line update - 5th Jan.
RPRF PCC and Medical proof sent to NDVO- 6th Jan
RPRF DD encashed - 13th Jan
PPR Received by agent- 27th Feb
4th line update(DM) - 2nd March
3rd line update - 5th Jan

I just have one question - I filled through an agent and now the agent forwarded me the PPR email. Can I submit the passport to VFS on my own or do I still need my agent to represent me for passport stamping?

Regards,

Congratualtions Buddy, realize your canadian dreams. +1 to you. My assumption is You can approach VFS directly.
meanwhile same Q that we have been asking everyone, "Did you submit PCC with application or with medicals". Your response will further help us to create some dummy trend sort o thing on the DM/PPRs.

Go ahead and have PCC ready with you . you have to submit it with MR request .

But as per current trends you have couple of months for your MR to come .

George

me and my wife both are in different states..
is this creates any problem. or we can go for PCC from respective states passport office

Dear Rajiv, PCC is country specific and not state. You can submit your PCC either from your hometown or the state in which you are currently residing. Either way it is fine.

Thanks for your suggestion.
Please answer one more question..
IS PCC required for my one year old son or not

In a effort to figure out the 2 address mystery.

Which of the below holds true for you weather you have 2 addresses on E-Cas or not.

My case is number 3 as of now.

1. 2 addresses - NDVO applicant but transferred to WARSAW/COLOMBO
2. 2 addresses - Earlier address, i.e. Communication address was not a local Canadian address.
3. 1 address - Communication address is a local Canadian address.

The easy way out is simple: take your parents with you ;)

Is your wife as torn as you are?

But if parents dont want to stay there...U know in my family my sis family, brother, parents everybody got PR except me, but still parents dont want to stay there for long as they feel bored. So there is always 2 sides of coin my friend !

No friend, DD for RPRF is encashed when received and NDVO. Usually within a week.
I am afraid in you case it looks as if they may have misplaced you draft.
Nothing to worry though as VO still reaches out asking for thr RPRF again, but I suggest you raise a CSE and query them on the DD encashment proactively.
