They perform various checks like documents veification, education, employement etc and if required they perform tele/physical verifications.

Rest sometimes they might be flying paper planes to pass time

My friend,
I'm with you on the same boat, I'm 8th of May applicant,
- I sent emails to Ottawa VO Cairo Vo with no reply!
- I called CIC, and informed me that my file transferred to Cairo VO in Sep .... and they don't know anything else since then.
- The Embassy is closed since 8th of Dec.
- I ordered GCMS, no useful informatiom, just my files is in Cairo and they haven't started working on my file yet.
- The processing time for Cairo office is 22 months (CIC website), not promising at all.

I hate waiting ..... I hate waiting .....

Should I know anything new I will post it inshaa Allah

There r many many applicants with ur similar issue (Cairo/Ottawa VO)....I suggest u contact them via Pvt. Msg. to know more since they may not be checking this thread regularly...They'd be in a better position to guide u...

That date is the date when the page source codes would have gone through changes and modifications or the static data on the page may have changed.

If the 2nd address is an E-CAS enhancement, then I think the date should have changed.

This just keeps on getting more and more interesting eh!!

I have the same date as modified date

That is one question i had on my mind why Nov 11 2014 is reflected there ever though my last update happened on Jan 17 for the 3rd line update.
I think many of us have the same date at the bottom right hand corner of ECAS page.... any comments ?
People from other VO can you have a look at the same and post the date reflected on ECAS page at the bottom right hand corner.

For the ones with 2 addresses, at the bottom, what do you see the date modified as? The one which suggest last amends to the site. I see "Date Modified: 2014-11-14'

My ESCAS has update which has two address which i have entered in the form sent with the APp communication address and residence address.

You should also see an update in a week or 2.
1st to 2nd line is usually 60-90 days.

Hi I am step 8 the applicant with Noc 2131. My 2 nd line got updated on Feb 12 th. Hope you will receive both 2 nd line and MR this week.

certainly as i said some change is always positive is what i am assuming ... lets see whether the assumption turns out an general update or some thing else ....but this has put the forum and its members into action !!!!!!!!

This line is added only one time and does not reflect to the numbers of the family members whom have done medical...
For me, my spouse did her medical approx 20 days earlier of me....
And I got this line just after three days of my medical...
So no need to worry much.....

Why I am confused is because my family went for their medicals on 9th Feb and when I checked back on 11th-12th it showed "Medical results have been received", considering Hospitals take around 1-2 days to send it wont be possible, isnt it?

This is why I am kind of skeptical is to whether they really received it or they are still reflecting the status about my medicals only.
