like many of us here, including me, your application too will be processed now by Warsaw and not new Delhi, due to heavy load on new Delhi.

There's no need to panic. To add your wife, you may have to raise cse and send her scanned docs as well as hard copies to warsaw vo. These docs will include revised generic form, schedule 3 and schedule A, her travel details, additional fees, dependents details, personal docs and passports, pcc, etc. Also mention your revised address in the form.

Will be slightly cumbersome, but end result will be worth the effort put in.

So my husband called NDVO yesterday, he was asked for his name and I believe his date of birth. Post that all he was told was that we can see that your application was received on 23rd Dec 2014. There is no other information available. They also confirmed that all communication pertaining to our application would go to our attorney in Canada.

Confused now because saying that it was received could mean they have yet to look at the application or......?

Anyways...keeping our hopes up for now

Really happy for all of you who got PPR/MR requests...
Well I'm still waiting for my FBI PCC(Somehow lost my original report mailed to my friend in mail by USPS and requested a duplicate copy to be sent)
Hopefully I will get to submit my report by end of next week. And hopefully get my visa stamped in 2-3 weeks
Good Luck to All of you who are waiting and in different stages of PR process..
I would really wish if we could continue our posts/chat even after we landed...

I have my second line update as "we have started processing your application on feb 21st", does that mean the employement and background checks are over.my employer states he has not received any call for verification.please enlighten. thanks and regards

2nd line doesn't mean bg check done. It means bg check initiated.
Even then physical and telephonic verifications are done rarely in case of suspicion and doubt. Most of the times these checks are not done for candidates

when the status reads as " we started processing your application on XXX date"........does it mean that the VO started Background checks???
some have suggested that the verifications will be over by that time.......
even the ECAS website mentions that the file will be considered acceptable for processing with the "second line update"....

My employers have never recieved any such intimations from the side VO in this regards and it is more than a month now since the 2nd line update for me........

If I can add, the initial BG check is completed to CIC and forwarded to your local VO and further BG check will continue on your application.

i am unable to edit in that table so we have.to fill that table by hand

It took 65 days for me to get my MR request and few others more time.
Please be patient, Its easy for me to say it but trust me it is much better than getting anxious

If you got your 2nd line updated, you can expect MR request in next couple of weeks.

Try to use Foxit reader....If it is not still working then fill it with hand....No problem at all...

I just checked my E-CAS. I see two addresses with the same content - Current and Mailing. So I guess it is being set for many applicants..but not sure if it is for all!!!

My ecas also shows two addresses now - permanent and current. Seems like a general update for all the applications.
