Capr13, no point expecting anything more for today. I believe they are done for the day (from 12 Noon I suppose). Let's hope they really kick start PPR/DM from tomorrow onwards... otherwise it will be a very very long and frustrating wait for us.

NDVO is taking a slow start! Hope it's increases it speed in next few days to almost 67 DM/PPR like last week. Still a lot of May/ June people are left! And we July people have not even started! Last week was really exciting with so many DM/ PPR . Hope they start again ! :

Hello seniors,

The support provided by all the members is remarkable. I actually needed a tip on how to get a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from NDVO. To comprise the long story in short my DD (53.4K) for RPRF has gone missing somehow at their(NDVO) end. I have send a second DD towards RPRF, which has been encashed by CIH. As per RBI guideline, I need to submit a NOC from the beneficier and on the basis of that NO OBJ. CERT. the bank will return me my 53 k.

All suggestions are truely appreciated.

Firstly, you should tell the bank its with embassy and they have lost it. You should declare or swearin on legal document that you will return the draft to the bank in case if it is found. As the document is missing, it is very difficult to be traced by either parties so you need to now request bank Manager that there is no point of return for the missing negotiable instrument. In this case, you need to request manager to consider your swearin or legal doc which claims missing DD and a request to cancel original DD and issue you a fresh DD.

dear expert, I am nov 28 applicant under NOC 1114. ECAS went live on feb 2. No PER yet. Can anyone advise when I can expect PER?

I guess it shows in process, expect PER soon. But some of us have been waiting for PER mail since January, though I got my UCI and application number when Icalled CIC and it shows in process

Thanks a ton for Ur help. The manager is bit stubborn and wants an NOC from beneficiary. I guess it's one of those things that nationalized banks do with the customers. HARRASE THE CUSTOMERS even if there is another way around. I ll try and convenience the manager again.

Does anyone know what is the validity of COPR?

I know that one has to land in Canada on or before expiry date on the PR Visa. However I was wondering what happens to those with visa free passport? They don't have a visa so do they also have to land within 1 year?

Hi Could anyone please advice me why my second line has not been updates ?

I received PER on the 24th of December and currently my application is in LVO . but still ECAS does not reflect second line.
What could be the reason for this. please advice.
