So the question comes Palak is that "How does the immigration officer make sure that you have enough funds for one year", if you are bringing less than $10000/PP. Is there any life cost index that we can refer to. How about our EPF statements that we have shown in POF earlier. Should we carry it along to just show case that it is something that will follow once we resign our current job (which incidentally many of us wont do and prefer to come back with PR card and then resign).

NDVO is having some sort of partiality towards 2 industries i.e. Hospitals & Airlines.

Doctors/Nurses are overloaded and Pilots/Air-hostess are simply dying to see one.

Bookings for Medical - Flooded
Receptionist = "Sorry sir no appointments available till next month...sorry i can't give you one"

Bookings for Airlines- Draught
Receptionist = "Oh welcome sir...when you want your tickets booked ? today what time ?...and ya, there is a free ticket on purchase of 2.. "

Hello seniors,

The support provided by all the members is remarkable. I actually needed a tip on how to get a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from NDVO. To comprise the long story in short my DD (53.4K) for RPRF has gone missing somehow at their(NDVO) end. I have send a second DD towards RPRF, which has been encashed by CIH. As per RBI guideline, I need to submit a NOC from the beneficier and on the basis of that NO OBJ. CERT. the bank will return me my 53 k.

All suggestions are truely appreciated.

I had sent my Application in June and returned back in Oct due decline credit card pament, 29th Oct re submitted the application. NOC 1123, till now no charge. tried sending two emails no reply nor my file came back. this is really frustrating
