Hi Everyone, there is an update!!!

I just checked my ECAS status.. There is Home Address visible on main page. I am sure it was not available yesterday.

I checked the status of application which is the same as first line....

NOC 0112
26 Sept Applicant
PER on 8 Jan
Photos request on 6 February
Resubmitted photos on 16 Feb
Change in view of on 3rd March

Please let me is this new thing for everyone or only in my case..

Guys,

One doubt. Please let me know which is true.

1. After we get PER and the file gets transferred to local VO, Do background checks get initiated and once that is clear does the file get assigned to a VO for further processing and is that when we get "We started processing your file on XX date".

2. After we get PER and the file gets transferred to local VO, Does the file just sit there idle in the registry waiting for some officer to pick it up and start and one s/he starts we get the line ""We started processing your file on XX date".

Reason i am asking is we received our second line update on Feb 16th Saying that "We started processing your file on 12 Feb ". But till now no verification calls/mails have been made to my wife's company as she is primary, However NDVO had called her to verify the credentials of an ex employee who is applying for student visa.

Any thoughts on this.

No. 2 is Correct.

It is not necessary that they always perform tele or physical verifications. If they are satisfied with docs submitted then they simply issue MR.

Today is 60th day of my 2nd line update but no MR yet. I m really worried as many have received within 2 weeks after update. So is there anything serious or i can still expect MR?

There are good chances of getting MR. But I ll strongly recommend you to apply GCMS notes at this stage.

It happens in case of eMedical upfront submission.
