Hi.,, I agree that his current passport is shared with CIC and it is required for Visa Stamping.. but most of the embassies do ask to submit the old passports along with the fresh ones..!

And evenif Canada High Commission do not require the old one and he is going to submit the passport at VFS then there is no harm in carrying the old passport along with..

No. You just need to submit the valid one.

You are absolutely correct...old passport also should be submitted if passport is changed during process of application......i did not submit my 2 old passports and got visa on larest one, which is same during whole PR process...

He already received MR and RPRF. So that mean background check is completed and whats left/on-going is Security.

to be more precise after the AOR (surprisingly a short time after AOR, like 3 or 4 days) I received MR, doc update( CV and military service exemption) and RPRF in one email

I consider 10% of these have not updated the status due to xyz reasons, so getting it down to 130 would be a conservative approach. Also, are these all those are left?? if this is the case, then NDVO has the ability to clear all the below names in 3-4 working days. considering they work this weekend as well just like the last, i think everyone should be in PPR list by 4th March. (God bless everyone with their share of happiness)

Got my ppr request yesterday. Mail fwd by consultant yesterday. Timelines on the left.
But the 4 th line is still not updated in ecas. Is this ok.

Also has anyone sent the passport by vfs mumbai. Appreciate if you can share your experience.

Also do we have to mention the name and dob on back of the photo. Please guide.

The long wait has finally come to an end very happy to share that I have received PPR a couple of hours back. My timeline is on the left panel. Ecas status is still in process. Will update the ss once i get back home today. Thanking all forum members for all the support during the process. Hope everyone get thru this process successfully.

Praise the Lord!!!

Guys, with the blessings of my God and Savior Jesus Christ, I received my PPR today around 4:38PM from NDVO. It was a long wait. Finally, my dream is fulfilled. I thank each and everyone for their wonderful contributions and supporting one another in this forum. I pray for people who are waiting for their PR/MR/PPR. All the best.

Yes it ok, nothing to worry about. They will update DM as soon as they stamp your PP.

Hi Guys,

I have temporarily moved to Australia (Melbourne) for sometime and I intend to stay in Australia until November 2015.
I have now received the Passport Request letter from Canadian High Commission, Delhi.
Due to this recent change in my residence, can i seek transfer of my file to the Sydney office in Australia.
