Thanks for this info. But I already started making some plans based on my friend's experience (his took about 5 months before he got a medical request), and I need to know what "very soon" actually breaks down to in weeks/months. This is because, based on my expectations, I'd started estimating a worst case scenario of May/June 2015, and planned my life in line with that estimate. My lawyer's feedback came as a shocker to me, thus my coming here to ask.

No there is no condition that passport should be valid for one year they only require passport to be valid for at least 6 months at the time of stamping.

No it won't. you need to prove that you can be economically successful in Canada. The point system plus POF concept is designed for that.

NDVO started processing: 28 Jan 2015

I have few concerns, please help.

1) If we pay fee by DD then it should be in CAD or INRs.?? If you pay online, it will be in CAD. But you want to pay by DD, It should be in INR payable in New Delhi

2) Are we supposed to get print out of the form for medical test and take it to the doctor? Yes, You will need to take the Printout of the form

3) Are we supposed to send all the docs in single envelop together or we can send it separately?? It is advisable to send all docs at once

In fact, PPR request email came to my consultant on 23/2/15 and informed me today only. Today only ECS status changed to Decision Made. [i.e. PPR came first and Decision Made status updated later]

My timeline is hereunder:

Visa office : London
Application received by CIC : 9th June, 2014
PER : 3rd Oct, 2014
Medical request:27th June, 2015'
Medcal done :31st Jan, 2015'
Medical received by CHC, London : 4th Feb, 2015
RPRF sent (DD) :11th Feb, 2015

Decision made : 26th Feb, 2015 (yesterday late night, I checked ECAS was not appearing, Today it was appearing
PPR request from CHC as per email dt : 23rd Feb, 2015

I will update SS soooooon.
