Hi guys,

I'm new here. I just realized I should have been part of this forum from day one. Is there a place I can go to learn all your terms like PER, MR, etc?

Besides that, what brought me here is a recent update from my immigration lawyer, telling me I may not get feedback from CIC until towards the end of 2015. most people I related my experience to, disagree with that, stating that it shouldn't take that long to process. I got my Initial FSW application approved on Nov 13th, 2014. Should it stay over 1 year in "In Process" status?

Please I need your opinions on this. Thanks

it's the first time for me to know that .. how can I do it ? don't I need some sort of medical request email for verification purposes to give it to the hospital ? and how can the doctors send my results to the CIC although the CIC didn't request it yet ??

please explain more ..

The doctor creates UMI# file and uploads it to RMO. When you get MR ask the VO to link your UMI# to IME# by email.
You can bring your PER email to the doctor but it's not mandatory.

What's your visa office?

Hello All,

Quick question and I am sure lot of people may have asked this but whats the difference between AOR and PER ? or are they the same but different terms. Also, can someone please confirm what to make of the below mail.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

I am not sure what is this as in AOR or PER and what does it mean ... is it just a confirmation of acceptance of the application if so what is the next step and how long does it take ?

Thanks a ton.

URGENT ISSUE: NDVO sent PPR on feb 25 to send passports to New Delhi, but we requested CASE TO TRANSFER TO LOS ANGELES on 13 Feb because we LIVE in LOS ANGELES and it is ILLEGAL TO MAIL out passports, what to do NOW?

Dear Friends,

PLEASE REPLY

I have to submit additional documents tomorrow. Just want to sure that all forms to be submitted are latest:

IMM 0008 (form latest updated in Feb 2015)
Schedule A (IMM 5669) - (form latest updated in Dec 2012)
Additional Family Information - (form latest updated in Sep 2013)

Also, what should I write at the back of the bank draft (Name, Address, Application No.)? Should I write the details with pencil or pen?

Seniors, your prompt response is needed as I will be submitting documents tomorrow.

Thanks

That's a PER although CIC is not aware of this term lol.
AOR confirms receipt of file by visa office. Few VOs send it this year.

Hi Diplomatru. Thanks for the instant response. My VISA Office is Accra, Ghana.

it is not the fastest VO, but you will likely get a Medical Request from them very soon.

That's why I ask my questions on this forum , because of some expert members like U Diplomatru .. really Excellent solution

I appreciate your help .. thank you so much :)

Hi All,
For CPC-Ottawa, anyone has an estimate how much time it takes from doing medical test to getting a passport request. Also in my case my husband and I both have visas, but are in the US and not in Canada.
