Hello Friends,

I am 14th May, 2174 applicant. I got my third line update in ECAS on 19th Nov.

We see June/July applicants are now getting DM/PPR and many of the May applicants are still left. Out of frustration, I am checking my ECAS/Email like every one hour but no luck till now :/

I have one doubt. Post the third line update, are there only security/criminal checks? or there can be some background checks from the employer too? On my job skill letter, i had mentioned my manager's phone number and that number is no more active now since he has relocated to some other country. Can this be the reason of delay?

Full timeline below:

Application Received: May 14th
PER: Aug 21
MR/RPRF/PCC: Nov 4
Medicals done: Nov 9
Third line update: Nov 19
DM/PPR: Waiting desperately

Guys who have already sent their passport based on PPR, please have a look.
There is one confusion. Along with my passport they have asked for 2 recent photographs.
Does this "recent" really mean latest photographs or I can provide those photographs which I had submitted with my application?

Varuen - Please submit latest photographs and not the one's that you submitted with application. You are also required to mention name and address of photo studio along with the dates where these photos were taken (only on one photo). This is clearly mentioned in the link provided in the PPR mail. Hope this helps.

FBI PCC Sent - 29 Dec 14
FBI PCC Received by VO - 31 Dec 14

Go for the new one, don't hesitate to spend 200 or 300 rs.

varuen bhai, it means taken within 6 months
anyways they will not able to figure it out, whether they are taken yesterday or 3 months back

EDIT: if possible go to nice photo studio and spend 200-300 INR and get nice pic and sent it along with PP as requested.

Very Good Question, Please can somebody confirm this. I too want to go and submit on behalf of wife and Son, with an authorization letter. Is that Ok?

You have to send latest photo....also mention the date the photo was taken at back...

Further, read Photo Specifications link/pdf provided in the PPR mail...

i am a December 2nd applicant, can someone let me know how many days it would take to move to the next stage.

I also have another query, is it necessary to have funds in your account till the time u get the your passport stamped or can we withdraw after we get the PER number ?
