Hey frnds,
i am flying to Toronto on Friday.
Any one wants to share or provide documents check-list or things to remember for immigration formalities on landing.

i am coming back in a month so bit worried about PR card. Can I give my hotel address while applying for PR card on airport and later change it to my frnds address who can courier me to India.

Just give your friend's address in the first place. Why take a risk.

One general question pelase

Post getting Visa, and before getting PR card, can one work? Is it legal?

You have to have landed. After landing, you are a PR immediately, and can work without restrictions. It just takes a while to get PR card. What you really need for working is your SIN (Social Insurance Number) which you can get immediately at any Services Canada office--most of the big airports have one right in the same area where you complete your landing process. Apply the same day you land.

I am Nov 28 applicant under NOC 1114. ECAS went live on 2nd feb. No PER till now. When I can get PER. Please advise.

Congrats on your PER.
To answer your question, (which you could have still figured out if you would have tried the search option on top right) -

1) The waiting game begins. You now need to wait for you 2nd line on E-CAS (We have started processing your application on xxxx) That usually takes 90-120 days and post the 2nd line, MR is triggered in 7 to 30 days. (Timelines may vary with each case, these are best known guesses)
2) Basis current trend, post your MR and 3rd line update (we have received your medicals), roughly 60 days to 90 days for Passport request. We have people on the forum who got it after 4 months also though.
3) Dont miss opportunities that you get right now. Once you application starts processing, inform VO of you job change. No issues there.
4) All that has happened with a PER is an initial screening and confirmation of all your documentation being in order. Now when the file comes to local VO is when the real scrutiny begins. That said, as long as you representation is true, nothing to worry.

any one applying under 1114 category..understand the category didnt receive sufficient no. of applications...cap was not reached as per CIC website (Dec-2014).

what all professions are you into currently...what have you all got on your employer letters.
