Very very happy to share....PPR Received...today at 1.30PM IST..
DM on 23 February.
2 May applicant, 2173, NDVO, Medicals done- 3 Oct

Now few points to take care of while submitting passport:
1) do not go directly to Canada high commission (as suggested by someone earlier) to submit your passport, they wont accept
2) do not take any laptop/bag etc with you to vfs, they dont have any arrangement to keep your stuff and they dont allow anything inside the office (very stupid of VFS not to have any arrangement to keep vistors belongings safe)..
3) keep praying, stay positive.

Guys, happy to share that my MR, PCC Request, RPRF and IMM5669 update request received today. Also found my 2nd line updated today as "We started processing your application on February 18, 2015."

Thanks buddy for sharing the information. This actually leaves us all with only one option that is to call CIC and ask for the status on our application. I believe as many of the forumites have already called and got the UCI# and get going them there

I read on another thread that a Dec 29th applicant in our NOC called CIC and was told that his application was recently opened and that it was under verification. He also mentioned that he was given his UCI and that it wasn't active yet. In addition he said that he had used DD as a mode of payment...that gives me some hope. I did try calling CIC but they are experiencing high call volumes and the call disconnected. Decided I would call them tonight.

Will post whatever I learn from them....fingers crossed and thinking positive thoughts

Same here guys...our future depends on their decision....its very depressing to see june july applicants receiving ppr...no offences please. ..i am happy for all who received it...but at d same tym very sad...

I received my PER couple of weeks back.. i also got my PCC done from india..

i need help with getting pcc done from uk.. and how will rhe further process be like..

Will i be notified when my file gets trsfed to visa office, or when medicals are required or any other requirement from cio

I will hesitate:
Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.

I will agree with HappySoul here. PCC has to be within 3 months of initial application. This is NOT valid for later stages such as MR. Your PCC can be older than 3 months when you are sending it at MR stage. This has been discussed many times with the likes of Oscar7.

Didn't receive a reply so re-posting!

I have also sent PCC to LVO. I had obtained PCC about three months ago, which is when I didn't have my new passport with me so it has old passport number mentioned in there!

Would they accept 3 and half months old PCC with old passport number on it or would they ask for a new PCC with new passport number on it?

Also, how long does it take to update 3rd line after medical exam is done for LVO?
