Hello Seniors,

I am Dec. 5 applicant and got charge last Jan.28 but still haven't received our PER. As of now Dec.9 applicants already getting their PERs. I called CIC this morning and they gave me my application number, checked it in ECAS and its currently in "In-Process" status. The agent mentioned that its not a good sign but didn't elaborate more on the details, also asked for our UCI # but she didnt gave it. I'm getting a little bit anxious on our current stage since we still haven't got our PER.. is there someone similar in our situation? Any advice on our next step?

Thanks in advance and God bless us all.

Donot worry brother.. if your ECAS is showing in process then it means you are going to get your PER, but remember my frnd donot compare you application filed time with the others and even i received my PER far after some late applications compared with mine. keep checking you mail and you'll rcve your golden mail soon.. all the best

You are amazing, +1 ...Take a bow Freind !!

Reasons

1.It is still registry and PA has to take the file and move to CBO

2. its already checked and approved by CBO but still has to get approval from PM. So lying in File ready for visa registry

3.It is on the desk of a CBO , he may complete the checks today

4.It is on the desk of PM ( most likely his assistant) and may get an approval today

5.Security and criminality check shows a red flag ( your name , pic or facebook group, or your social activities, local criminal database, government official database etc ) throws some signal. Most likely your face or name is remotely matching with someone in the list- it sends for a detail check to CSIS

6. you have lot of travel and they need to match each country specific database - takes time.

7. you have a visa rejection and it is not mentioned - Only for USA and Canada visa holders - it is up to officer to take a decision whether this should be treated as misrepresentation- usally they don't do it provided if the visa rejection was not because of fraudulent activities

7. your file is approved and updated in Sap system, it is waiting for the next scheduled update to update in web site) if this is the case the file is with a PA and she simply does not find time to send you a PPR email

8. CBO identified a likely misrepresentation during his check , file is forwarded for a local background check team ( NDVO conists of two officer based on 2004 audit report- note sure the latest)

These are the likely reasons

Yes I agree with you it will make us upset....

But even if we get the Visa soon are we really prepared to move immediately, we have to ask this question to ourself.

Now we can utilize this time in doing research about the country, job search, housing and some interesting fact.

The reason why we are anxious is we want to just get confirmation that we are through and our process is completed. But believe almost 99% people will get PPR when the 3rd lien is update, its just matter of time thats all.

Agree with you to some extent.... people want to get assured ( as you mentioned) but more importantly have other things linked with PPR... like resigning from current job & serving notice period ...

Just in my case I have notice period of 3 months .... I live in UAE so i need to wind up from here & then go to India ...spend some time wid family & then will migrate...

Same is the case with others...they might be having some plans linked to PPR

Hi guys...

I am 8 august applicant, received PER on 1st Dec, but no update since then....There are applicants after me who are done with second line update and medicals. What shall i assume, is there some issue with my application or will I get negative reply as decision made?

Am worried :'(

Thank you

Dear Mustafa.. why are u thinking like that.., there are many people who are waiting for the same and also as you mentioned aswell. do not worry, did you notice any med and med req in past few days. i think now NDVO is working on PPR and DM cases, so let them complete our frnds long waiting and later they will come to ours. This is what i suppose.

be happy frnd.
:) :) :) :) :)

Even I am waiting for my DM/PPR

VO: NDVO

The Delay in your 4th Line is not alarming. But, you can apply for GCMS anytime.
In case, you want to apply only when the delay is abnormal, then you can wait for another month.

Yes true.... Job resignation makes a great impact on PPR.

Will you try to search job from India or will you immediately travel to Canada once you get the visa ?

Although your Application date is 1st week of May, your Medical Completion date is quite late in the month of December. Not sure if you completed your Medical near to the expiry of your due date period.

Anyway, Given that your Medicals were completed in December, I would say wait until 20 March. 3 Months and 1/2 weeks buffer after Medical is a reasonable time to wait and watch. After that, you have a strong reason to file for GCMS Notes.

By the way, You did not clarify about RPRF/PCCs, but I hope your PCCs and RPRF were submitted before 12th December.
