One update from my side is that ...

1. NDVO lost my pcc and asked me to send scan copies of pcc on 6th Feb.
(I had sent them pcc along with MR)

2. I replied them and send scan copies of pcc within one hour of email on 6th Feb only.

3. Today I received email that they have my pcc and my file is pending for Security Checks.

Following lines are from ndvo email

Please be advised that the the Police Clearance Certificates have been received by our office.

The file is pending back ground checks and final review.

At present no action is required on your part.


Now i dont know this is good news or bad news

I also dont know how many days they need for security checks !!

All it means is they lost your PCC and needed the new one and that may cause a slight delay but it is no cause for worry.

Hi,

I am from Kerala and I received my PPR yesterday. How can I submit my passport to VFS?

Should I go in person to Bangalore to the VFS office? Is there any other option as I am not in a position to travel soon.

Yeah Giftmas that's true.. But it makes you concerned when there is no update for 70 days after you receive your PER. And I have seen the cases where people receive their second line update first and then they receive their MR. In my case, I haven't even received second line update.
So I was bit concerned. God knows what are they doing with applications.

There are many people who are still without 2nd line for even 100 days, some of them. So you are not alone. And you definitely are in the race.

I was abt to post the same thing...then I saw this->

Looks like Harpreet did submit PCC with initial application and the data in SS is incorrect .....let's c what he says...

For the June/July applicants...upfront PCC submission seems to remain a factor in reducing time for Decision made....until now...

so July 21 applicant reported DM today ?
My timelines are similar with only one thing is different that i sent my PCC with the app and sent my wife's PCC with MR.
Does that mean i should expect a considerable amount of delay?

I think the checks related to PCC would consider whether that person travelled and how many cities or places lived etc etc

20-Aug-2014 Positive Eligibility Review Received/ File no generated.
13-Oct-2014 Medical Examination Request Received
28-Oct-2014 Medical Examination Done
04-Nov-2014 Medical Results Received.

Current Status: In Process

Decision Made Status: Not Yet
PP Request: Not Yet

We are emotionally down as we're waiting and waiting for a PPR for so long. People who have applied in May has already landed in Canada.
We are wating for mercy from the CIO. May the lord help us all. Stay blessed.

Hello Friends,

I have received AOR from Colombo Visa office on the 13th of February 2015. Originally selected NDVO.

I had shown proof of funds as a bank Fixed Deposit, I have moved my money to other investments, so I no longer have that fixed deposit.

and I have seen people in the forum who have been asked for last 6 months account statement. Do they ask that from everybody specially in case of people who have submitted fixed deposit as proof.

Please advice people, It will be helpful once I get MR(hopefully Tongue).

It is the VO prerogative. generally they may ask if they are suspicious about the candidate or the transaction.

Passport being the most important document and even so now that you will receive the Visa on it.

I would suggest travel to the nearest VFS and submit it personally.
