Yeah Giftmas that's true.. But it makes you concerned when there is no update for 70 days after you receive your PER. And I have seen the cases where people receive their second line update first and then they receive their MR. In my case, I haven't even received second line update.
So I was bit concerned. God knows what are they doing with applications.

Your wait is almost over. NDVO presently processing August applicants only. Second line has been for lots of Aug Applicants and few of them have received MRs as well. So, just keep yourselves ready for MR. Collect PCC, if you haven't submitted or collected so far.

Hello Friends,

I have received AOR from Colombo Visa office on the 13th of February 2015. Originally selected NDVO.

I had shown proof of funds as a bank Fixed Deposit, I have moved my money to other investments, so I no longer have that fixed deposit.

and I have seen people in the forum who have been asked for last 6 months account statement. Do they ask that from everybody specially in case of people who have submitted fixed deposit as proof.

Please advice people, It will be helpful once I get MR(hopefully Tongue).

Ideally, it should have been kept likewise as you submitted POF till the DM or PPR. But, since you have already invested so just keep that ready during MR or DM. There are 90% chances that they are going to ask you (or everyone) again regarding POFs during DM. I am not sure whether FDs peoples are the one who are asked at later stages or not. Experienced people can better give response on this

Should be within next couple of weeks. In my case, I got MR first and then got the 2nd line update. I got MR on 29th Jan, and 2nd line said we started processing your app on Jan, 29!

the Proof of funds needs to be maintained till you land, can be asked for at any time.
