If there are medical costs involved they do.

Even I agree, if ongoing medical costs are involved then might be an issue.:)

Canol,,,future canadian...

Can you please share what can be the reason for no change in processing of files for June applicants?

Thanks

If you are talking about NDVO, only they can tell the reason. lol

You are WRONG and you are ENDANGERING someone's application.

It is VERY CLEARLY STATED in several places INCLUDING the PCC request e-mail and the document checklist and on CIC's web site that an applicant must provide PCCs for ALL countries lived in for 6 months or more SINCE AGE 18. It could not be more clear. Just because it's not within the past 10 years and they don't know about it in order to ask for it does NOT mean that you don't need to provide it. It is the applicant's responsibility to provide all documents required in the application even if the VO does not ask for it specifically.

Just because it's not within the past 10 years don't think that CIC can't find out that you lived somewhere. They do extensive background and security checks. If they see that someone lived in Saudi for 4 years more than 10 years ago and didn't provide the PCC that will be trouble. Failure to provide a PCC would be considered a misrepresentation which is a guaranteed rejection. Are you comfortable taking that risk? Maybe you are but don't encourage someone else to take that risk without even knowing it by giving the wrong answer to their question.

-1 for dangerous and incorrect information.

It is clear that all PCC of every country an applicant has lived in since the age of 18 or for the last 10 years should be provided to LVO
BUT
An applicant should submit only documents requested by LVO. In the PER email, CIC states clearly: " Please do not forward additional documents unless requested." I think all what is not asked for by LVO might be unnecessary and confusing. Any other senior member to confirm or affirm. Confusing?

Shah, this is a friendly argument. I might be wrong, but tell me why will CIC / VO ask for the PCC if they do not know you have traveled to Saudi before. How are they supposssed to know if you have not disclosed info greater than 10 years ? In that case does it not become the applicants responsibility to provide the PCC since the age of 18 years for foreign stay greater than 6 months ? If not provided, wont it lead to non disclosure of facts ?
In the form also they have asked for info of past 10 years. You can just raise CSE and inform CIC about your past stay in other countries. anyway +1 for you.

I can trust on you as you are the one of the best advice giver...in this forum...

Thanks +1 to you

All the best Parin !!
Hope the handicap does not require ongoing medical costs !! I am assuming that the handicap is of a permanent nature requiring no medical costs.

Yes, that's what I am saying. they have asked for info of last 10 years only in forms. But PCC is asked for all stays since the age of 18.
Also +1 can be given only once you cross 20 posts. However thanks for the intent. :)

Can someone please advise -

If PCC is delayed can the local VO reject our application ?? Or the application just gets delayed ??

If pcc gets delayed, you need to proactively get time extension in deadlines from VO. In case you overshoot the deadline, the app may get rejected.

Why do you want to pay extra ? there are no RPRF charges for minors. So you need to make a DD for CAD 980 only.

In case you have excess money and want to dispose it, you can send it to my account. lol ;D ;D ;D

Edit : The CAD 150 will be initial PR fees. My mistake. So I wont get the CAD 150 :(

Hi CanOl,

LOL! I wish I could but trying to make both ends meet here buddy and this is one shot which seems to be paying off ;)
Shud I make a single DD or two?
Cheers!:)
