Dear Senior Members - How would I know if RPRF has been received by the VO office or not? Does it get updated on ecas? I paid online and I have the receipt that I paid and the charge hit my cc also. However is there a way to find out if the VO has received it?

Also, my medicals were done on Feb 3rd and uploaded on Feb 6th. Till now the ecas doesn't show the 3rd line update. Doctor's office confirmed that they uploaded on the 6th. What should I do, just keep waiting or reach out to the VO to confirm if they've received it or not?

Many thanks!!

@rvp: am looking for an answer of query (CSE) responded by CIC, canada... any info?
thanks.

Man, they I asked ... actually my application was received on 12 december ... so she told me that its early to receive a PER email .. however whenever I log in with my UCI number it says IN PROCESS ... furthermore , she also told me the name of my VISA office ! What does this all means ? :/ .. Have I achieved PER or not ?

in ECAs where you log in using your UCI number Click on the Hyperlink that says In Process if it says 1. We received your application on 12 December 2014 then it means you will get PER in few days.

all the best.

In my opinion, they would have quoted you your VO basis therr SOP which identifed which VO work's on which region. If they say early to receive PER then, that' what it may be.

What do you see when you click on "In process"?
UCI showing in process is certainly a positive. Try checking you entire mailbox including spam and junk for gc.ca domain emails.
Also check you application kit and see that mail id you shared is correct.
Finally, as you have the UCI and VO, raise a CSE and enquire.

Hi,

1) Doctor's are already identified as per CIC. Amongst, those, I doubt you can pick and choose. PFA the link to get all the docs for Fortis - http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx
2) Yes, You can also call Fortis and check with them.
3) Yes, if EMedical then no photo needed, they will click and upload on the spot.

Thanks for your response. I 'l call them up then!
Cheers!!!:)
+1

Dear Members,

I have received my Single Entry Visa, now I'm in dilemma as I have some personal commitment and I cannot stay more than 10-15 days in Canada and I need to return back.

As you know that the VISA is single entry, now my question is that if I return in 10 days then how will I enter again in Canada and what is the procedure?

How long does it take to get PR Card? Can PR card be mailed to my relative residence in Canada, if I specify my address as their's while applying for PR card.

Please provide guidance...

Thanks in Advance...

Watal

It will be tricky and I dont see a way out.
- PR card takes 30-45 days for issuance.
- PR card's cant be shipped outside the country.
- There is no other way to enter the country back unless you are in a private vehicle, in which case COPR and landing papers suffice.

PR card's can be issued on urgent basis, not sure of the TAT, however they do not lay any guidelines for the reasons they accept. Hence they dont assure that they will process you request as a urgent one.

It's best that you work out on your stay such that you leave post you have your PR card.

This is totally not a true assertion.

Permanent resident or landed PR can apply for visa to return to the country even when they don't have a PR card. it is called a PRTD - Permanent Resident Travel Document.

The online receipt itself says that the transaction has been approved and accepted by the NDVO you should get the 3rd line update 3 to 15 days from the time you submitted the medicals.
The third line update means they have received your medical and all is good which means welcome to PPR club.
Check with the hospital again ask whether any issues or all reports fine if they confirm they raise an CSE and wait for the reply.

Thank you for your response capr13!

The Doctor's office confirmed that everything was normal and also provided me a copy of the Chest X-Ray's and Blood report. It states everything is normal for X-Ray and negative for HIV and Syphilis for both my wife and I.

I had requested a deadline extension to submit my India PCC due to delays in obtaining the same by raising CSE on Feb 13, however they VO hasn't responded to that request yet. Could this be a reason why the 3rd line has not been updated?
