Could you please let me know the unknown dealy caused in issuance of MR? Its been 4.5 months since PER and exactly 3 mths since 2nd line update. So much so, no verification has happened. Is there any problem in my file. My consultant says it can take upto 2-6 mths to get MR. I will be entering 6th month on 1st march.

Same here... It's been 6 months since Per and 3.5 months since second line... Ecas shows in process

Just get a police certificate from passport kendra. they are valid for allover india.

First of all, not lived in last 10 years BUT after attaining 18 yrs of age.
Secondly, you require only one PCC that's too from your current police station.

To keep your PR you should live in Canada for 2 years in 5 years... I am not sure if that 5 year is counted from the first landing day.. or from validity of PR Visa date or from expiry of PR Visa date.. But that's for sure that if you wont stay in Canada for 2 years in 5 years after getting the PR then your PR status will be lost and you again have to apply or will have to hire an attorney to show any valid reason why you did not stay.. and then rest depends upon their decision if they grant you new PR or extend your PR status and let you stay...

So, after getting the PR Visa you need to land before Visa expiry.. Please note that the stamped PR visa is a "SINGLE" entry visa and after landing you will get PR card (within 3 to 4 weeks of landing) which you can use for future entries... And to keep PR status you must enter Canada again after 2.5 to 3 years so that you should have next 2 to 2.5 years to keep your PR status... And last but not the least if you stay in Canada on PR for 3 years you can apply for citizenship which will be forever (I guess)...

I have received my Single Entry Visa, now I'm in dilemma as I have some personal commitment and I cannot stay more than 10-15 days in Canada and I need to return back.

As you know that the VISA is single entry, now my question is that if I return in 10 days then how will I enter again in Canada and what is the procedure?

How long does it take to get PR Card? Can PR card be mailed to my relative residence in Canada, if I specify my address as their's while applying for PR card.

Please provide guidance...

I just need an important suggestion from your end...

I am currently working in Global MNC Company and my reporting is to a person who sits in Poland. And i am the only person from India who reports to him.

If I get the PR Stamped on my Passport, so is there any possibility, that I can continue my job there in Canada (as we have offices in US and Canada).

Please suggest on the following, if I will get the transfer from India to Canada Office (obviously on different Payroll) :-

1) Do I need to inform to NDVO on the same

2) Will there be any effect on my Application

3) Does anyone will have issues/ objection on this.

4) Any other important point, if I have missed out anything... ???

There is no issue at all with this option.

In fact of this would have been worked out earlier and your Canada office would have issued you an Job Offer letter on basis of securing a PR they would have somewhat fast tracked your file.

It will be tricky and I dont see a way out.
- PR card takes 30-45 days for issuance.
- PR card's cant be shipped outside the country.
- There is no other way to enter the country back unless you are in a private vehicle, in which case COPR and landing papers suffice.

PR card's can be issued on urgent basis, not sure of the TAT, however they do not lay any guidelines for the reasons they accept. Hence they dont assure that they will process you request as a urgent one.

It's best that you work out on your stay such that you leave post you have your PR card.
