The text of the MR mail is this....

Police Certificate : Form each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance for yourself and your spouse from India. This must be received at this office by 2015/04/07

There is no mention of Saudi PCC. I have not submitted the Saudi PCC earlier and as per my consultant it's not required to be submitted as they have not asked for it as the period is more than 10 years prior .... I'm really confused now.

you will have to submit Saudi pcc. Pcc is required from countries other than Canada where you have stayed for more than 6 months at a stretch, since your 18th birthday. It's not just last 10 years.

Wish some other members also comment on this.

thanks. One small correction. Pcc is required for all adults greater than 18 years of age, for their stay in any country other than Canada, more than 6 months at a stretch, since their 18th year onwards.

No, it won't confuse them. Its better that you submit all required PCC simultaneously. If you won't submit right now then there are possibility that your VO can ask Saudi PCC at the later stage during processing. Which will ultimately further delay your processing. So, its better you submit the same even if it is not asked.

After the July 14th applicant posted DM i am like refreshing the ECAS every 20 minutes hoping for the good news

Dont worry ....


If they need they will ask you in the MR letter itself as a seperate point, to submit the Saudi PCC.. Here if they not asked you about saudi pcc, then NO NEED to provide it.

I am residing in saudi Arabia and for me, they asked in seperate line itself in the letter , to provide Indian PCC and Saudi PCC.

No Mr FSW you don't have to inform about rejected petitions. Only rejected visa cases have to be reported.

Could you please let me know the unknown dealy caused in issuance of MR? Its been 4.5 months since PER and exactly 3 mths since 2nd line update. So much so, no verification has happened. Is there any problem in my file. My consultant says it can take upto 2-6 mths to get MR. I will be entering 6th month on 1st march.
