I was happy till now, about the first ever worldcup victory against SA, but after reading your post...I feel there is always someone who losses....and reading your post made me realize the sentiments of the other side too....

Can we narrow it down, that the issue is with May applicant?...Could you please analyze it bit further....

Ohh wow brother....I cannot narrow it down exactly...we can only speculate on the VO's style of functioning

However, to pass the time I recommend that you read some of adisu's posts (our resident Analyst)...May help soothe ur nerves...

Chill and read..and wait for NDVO to send u PPR/DM on its way....(thanks to adisu again )

And some may get it earlier/ some may get it later but we will all get it buddy (provided our applications are 100% authentic....the key here is to wait patiently..)

PCC comes only during the criminality check. A visa officer search your details ( I posted this some time earlier today - how these checks are done) and only if there is a red flag, an detail check will be initiated by CSIS which is time consuming . I cross checked this with a ex visa officer . Only thing is a Security and criminality should be done by a senior CBO.

so they complete very quickly for people whose name or photograph does not resembles with red flag list. your file likely sitting on a visa officers desk and he may grab it first thing in the morning.

forget about all you know about security and criminality check. I am going to present you a unclassified document. This is an outdated document but still applicable though the checks are more elaborate .

Remember security check for most of us unless our names are not there int he database is a matter of minutes

Things you should know

1. There is a Database which includes suspected terrorist, known foreign intelligence officers, organized crime criminals ,war criminals etc - There is a country profile for every country
2. This is udpated in every month
3. An Experienced canada based visa officer (CBO) runs this check from NDVO
4. if an indviual meet a profile ( photo, name etc)- then his profile would be forwarded to CSIS - This is going to take sometime

if somebody says security check are going to take longer time and they are not done by visa office - ask them to get lost - they don't take time at all

Criminality

once the DVO review the file, then the file will be forwarded to team lead to review and then once the application is passed all reviews, it will then be sent to a program manager to review. Only the PM has the rights to approve

So your files are pending for a PM review most likely. I see an update from a May applicant yesterday stating that his application was ready for visa from nov and it is just lying there

I got the PCC, RPRF as part of medical request. Since we share close timelines, I am trying to find some logic why you're pushed ahead. I see PCC is the only difference as I've submitted as part of MR.

Hi every one!

With the grace of God-Almight, my immigration process is done and have got visa stamped. Currently, I am in Saudi Arabia, and will be taking final exit from here and will be coming back to Pakistan because I want to fly from there. instead of flying from Saudi Arabia.

In this regard, can any expert shed some light to below queries?

Can I just simply buy KLM tick from Saudi and come to pakistan and fly from there?

I believe Itehad airline has a tie in with KLM so Itehad air line will take me from karachi to abu dhabi then I will get on board in klm from abu dhabi to calgary? Is that smooth process and no additional visa or formal documentation is required? can any one confirm that?

Will I require any other transit visa or any formal document will be required?

I will be really thankful if some one can provide authentic information

Feeling sad with the working style of NDVO.... People whose medicals were received in sept/oct/ nov ( the may applicants) are still waiting & on the contrary whose medicals were received in Dec/jan are getting DM's / PPR's...

Not feeling jealous... but just a feeling of left out ..
