Guys, my application status changed today from IN PROCESS to DECISION MADE.

What does that indicate?
Is there any further process to be followed from my side?

Please help me in getting through this.

My application date was 26 May 2014
Received medical request in November 2014
The status changed to DECISION MADE today.

Guys, please tell me what does it mean ?
Any steps to be taken ahead ?

Third line was added on Jan 14 and was not expecting the fourth line till April first week. This was unexpectedly fast!

Hi everyone!!!
Long time without coming online....
My landing experience couldn't be better. In just 40 minutes I was moving from the plane to the outside of the airport! Amazing, everything here is so fast and painless. In the Immigration Center they just asked for my Passport and my COPR, nothing more. I gave them the address where I was supposed to be staying for the first few weeks and that's all. No POF or something similar. The luggage was waiting for us when we arrive with the trolley so no waiting there.
Just an advice for the people who are planning to come here in the near future. If you are not used to the strong weather conditions or you have not friends/relatives who can help you to settle, avoid coming in winter. For us it has been painless because we have had a LOT of help, but changing from 25 degrees to -20 is not funny at all
That's all! I hope I could come back in the near future! Thanks everyone!

My dear friend .. For SGVO, as per the SS. The avg processing time from PER to Processing started (2nd line) is 77 days and from PER to MR is 83 days.

have 2 queries

We applied in Nov and received per on 4th feb

1. My spouse had applied for H1B usa in 2008 and was rejected in lottery. However we did not add this information while submiiting our app. Should we inform the VO about this? please note there is no file number or receipt number since the app was rejected during initial stage itself
2. My company has nominated me for H1b this year. The lottery would be in April we guess. So how soon should we be informing the VO about this ?

Note: VO is NDVO, though we havn't received any confirmation on this. Some NDVO applications got transferred to Warsaw and Colombo recently.
My spouse is the primary applicant.

you should intimate the vo provided if your visa application was rejected after examining by a visa officer. I don't think H1B lottery is something you need to worry. If your H1B was rejected after a visa officer examination, then it should be mention . again to be in safer side, raise a case specific enquiry and ask them

Guys this was long journey. This was started in Dec 2007. I applied in Jan 2008 and as everyone knows unfortunately in March 2012 they have terminated around 3lakh backlog applications. I was amoung them. I again tried in 2013 and got my application returned due to cap filled. I was much hopeful this time!!!
Hopeful to get PPR mail on Monday!!!!

PCC comes only during the criminality check. A visa officer search your details ( I posted this some time earlier today - how these checks are done) and only if there is a red flag, an detail check will be initiated by CSIS which is time consuming . I cross checked this with a ex visa officer . Only thing is a Security and criminality should be done by a senior CBO.

so they complete very quickly for people whose name or photograph does not resembles with red flag list. your file likely sitting on a visa officers desk and he may grab it first thing in the morning.
