thanks rajaram, but is there any solution for this with in UK. Also please advise me about the processing time required if u have any info?

Hi Fahad

Approach any bank in London.. They will issue Demand Draft in Canadian dollar for specified amount in the specified beneficiary name. They will have corresponding bank /branch in Canada. On demand draft, they will write that it is payable at so and so...

For example, you approach ABC bank in London. If they have a branch in Toronto, they will write ÄBC Bank, Toronto Branch..".."If they do not have branch of their own, their networking /corresponding bank details will be displayed...

Just approach any bank in London. They will help you.... Need not worry.

Regards

Dear Member,

Please let me know wen I can get PR Card after i enter Canada, Do I need to stay 730 days to get a PR Card?

Can I apply for PR card as soon as I land in Canada and provide them my Canada mailing address, will they send it through post. How long does it take to get PR Card.

-Watal

Apply for PR card immediately upon landing. you will get it in around 45-60 days. They will send it by post to your Canada address which you will update to them.

Friends,

Is it necessary for all members in a family to travel first time to complete immigration procedures?

Not required. but PA has to be there...

We don't have to apply for PR card. Immigration officer will initiate the process at the time we complete out landing. It takes generally 3-6 weeks to get it.
