What I mean is that you must stay in Canada for at least 730 days in ANY 5-year period. You should ensure that there is no period of 5 years, beginning on any date, wherein you didn't spend at least 730 days in Canada. So if you land January 1, 2015 and leave December 31, 2016, you'd better return to Canada by December 31, 2019, because if you don't then there will be the five year period between January 2, 2015 and January 1, 2020 where you will only have spent 729 days in Canada. And then if you still haven't returned to Canada on January 2, 2020, there will be the 5 year period between January 3, 2015 and January 2, 2020 where you will only have spent 728 days in Canada. Does that makes sense?

CIC measures to the day, so save all records of entrance/exit from Canada (such as boarding passes) so you can prove that you have maintained PR.

Hello my fellow countryman, They 60 days average number is influenced by the first couple of cases back in May that were super fast as they were the first of the line, the last MR from Mexico took 93 days, so you are almost there. You may want to check a thread where we the applicants from the mexico visa share our situation.

Hi everyone ..so two days ago i received MR :-* but also a req to make a new background declaration IMM 5669 ...they want me to answer 8 and 12 ons Schedule A beginning in month of 18th birthday...
so when i was writing a form i wrote everything from today till 2004 ( it can only fit up to 2004) ..so what to do?? should i write now only from august 1998 (18th b-day) up to where it fitt ..because it cant not fit everything ..
also im curently working in company from 07-2013 ..so how to write ....from 07-2013 to ??? (leave it blank) or what ???

also in section 12 (address section) i didnt change more than 2 address...why they wont me to answer again ?!!?
maybe cus i current add. wrote as a FROM :01/2009 To: blank

Please use additional sheets and enter full data in the same format. Put the Form No. on the top with your name and UCI number. Attach that sheet with the form.

Hello Friends,

I highly recommend everyone to register for CIIP sessions in their hme countries before landing.

They actually share a lot of valuable info regarding your settlement and job search issues in those sessions and additionally, they connect you with their partner agencies who may be helpful to you in your pre and post landing preparations.

The sessions will definitely prove to be an eye-opener for many of us for they tell about the preparations we need to do in advance to make ourselves job ready and settle successfully.

Hey Indocan my application is also from May batch and all we can do is to have patience and wait for our turn as that's the best we can do at this stage other than raising a Case Specific Inquiry (CSE) which iam sure would take at least 30 days to get a decent reply and so i might as well wait for some more days.

Anyways, I was just amazed by noticing that some June applicants got PPR mail which could be due to the fact they might be having less or negligible travel history.
