Hi seniors,

I have my UCI number , I got it after calling to CIC , now i entered my UCI , it says " In Process " and if I click over it , it says " We received your application for permanent residence on December 12 2014. ". However, I didnt receive any PER email yet. What does this means ? Does this means that I already achieved PER ?

Just to give you some idea, on my ECAS it says "We received your application for permanent residence on June 23 2014."

But BUT, I received PER on Oct-21-2014!

I have sent my MR details on 18/02/2015. I also wanted to add my wife's name in my process so I sent her details also along with my medical details.

My opinion is that the VO does not change the visa stamping office. No point wasting time to write to VO.

Send your passport through DHL/ very secure post to VFS. VFS does not normally receive from DHL. So, you have to send your friend with a covering letter then he/she will go to VFS and proceed.

Also, check your Indian embassy to get a letter to send your passport through DHL. otherwise Indian customs will not allow.
