Hi freexyg

- PER is issued from CIC, and then the file is physically transferred to the VO handling your area for rest of the process.
- Some VO's like Colombo and Warsaw, issue an AOR letter, however like the NDVO, some don't.
- Once the VO starts working on our file, you will see the second like update on your E-CAS "We have started processing you application from". This could take 90-120 days, so got to be patient.
- Time post that are application specific.

Hello! I checked my status online and there's still no additional update other than the first line. However I see that my current mailing address is now updated based on what I filled up on application. It used to show my very old address which must be during the time that I applied Canadian tourist visa way back.

Is this normal that after PER they only update my address but no mention if what happen next like which visa office my papers has been forwarded to?

Isn't it funny - you hear a phone ringing and it could be anybody.
But a ringing phone has to be answered, doesn't it?

Just got a call from Travel Agent, my tickets confirmed to fly on 13th Mar, 15.
Thanks folks for your all support.

Keep you all updated with things happening around ! :)

I am not a 100% but it's 3-4 attempts.
I am afraid a new payment detail may not help at this stage.
Only way is that you speak to you bank and get this CIC"Offline Merchant" charge in CAD through the next time they attempt.

Hello Friends,

My timeline first:-
App Received :- 11 June,2014
MR - 20 Nov, Medical Done: - 24 November, 2014
PPR - Awaited (NDVO)

Question:-
I know these type of questions have been asked numerous time, but sorry I am repeating it.When is June applicant can except their PPR.

I have resigned from my current company, and my new company joining is due in next 2 weeks.
So I am in dilemma:-
Situation1:- Go ahead with the joining and one's PPR comes in March/April, leave that company and proceed to Canada.
Drawback is that it can spoil my profile of leaving company IN 1-2 months( provided i am showing that in my CV.)
Advantage is Good package may be for few months.
Sitauation2:- Continue with the same company, ask them may be for 1 month extension on resignation and one's PPR comes fly .
Drawback: - Not sure whether PPR would come in one month for June applicant or not.
Advantage: - They might transfer me to Canada location after PPR and i would be saved from hassle of changing company now and looking for a job in Canada .But only IF PPR comes early .
Anyone please advice, how much is the probability for JUNE Applicants PPR arriving in March month, as i am more inclined towards Situaion2.
Thanks in advance for reading this boring post and Your suggestions would be appreciated.

CIO is the Central Intake Office in Nova Scotia. This is where we send our packages and post review and charging the kit's are sent to the respective VO.
In you case, it means CPC-O has still not received your file.

Hey Guys,

I posted this question before but I didn't really get an answer.

What does it mean by my file is still at CIO. I was told that transfer began on January 30th, 2015 previously but was told currently that it's still with CIO. Does it mean that it was already transferred to Ottawa but hasn't been looked at yet, therefore it's showing as with CIO? Or is it really at CIO? It doesn't make sense to me that files transferred outside the country is quicker.

Thanks

Hi,

Aug 05 Applicant (2173)

PER : 14 Nov

2nd Line update - 21st January

Med & RPRF mail - 25th Jan

Medicals Done - 7th Feb

Haven't received 3rd line update (Medicals have been recieved)

P.S. My wife didn't undergo X-Ray as she is 9 months pregnant and added x-ray deferral form alongwith other docs

I Would like to know whether we will get any update from NDVO regarding this ?

Buddy,

Optimistically, it could happen in a month to 2.
Pessimistically, it could take longer.

Cant derive probability on PPR's yet. NDVO is just not throwing back a clear patter. E.g. We got people from 22nd May who got PPR and we have people form 9th May still waiting on it.

Situation1 is best.
In you present, take the route that is best for you professionally and personally. Don't waste it or let it go on a future which is still in the making.

Please have your long term objectives very clear as to what you want from life and for yourselves, In my view changing companies according to one's whim's and fancies is just not right behavior....companies spend lots of resources on recruitment and they expect the employees with stay minimum of 2-3 years if not more....In my opinion you need to stick to option 2 if they move you to Canada it would save your time and efforts.
