I received my medical request from NDVO on 10th Feb, 2015. Application date : 1st aug.

But I have added my newborn baby in my application and sent them the required docs yesterday...

How much time NDVO takes to issue MR for newborn baby after getting the documents ?

Urgent reply requested ....

why u did not inform NDVO before when ur baby born?... now it will delay ur process for atleast 45 days

Hello everyone,

I've been able to access my ECAS for over a week (I got my PER email (which doesn't mention a specific visa office) on 10/2) but it still shows 'In Process' and only mentions that my application was received on 17/11/2014.

Is this normal or should I be worried?

Don't worry, its normal , when u get a PER your ecas shows in process with the 1st line updatedas " We have received your application on xxxxxx"

You may also consider ICICI Bank, as they have presence in Canada.

Do they operate as a Canadian bank though? And having an account with them will it help you kick start your Canadian credit history?

You have already written "believe it or not"....so, No offence but I am being little skeptic about this due following reasons :

1) Till today, NDVO has released PPRs on an avg. of 6-7 Nos. / week. (as per the information in the forum)

2) From last many days not a single DM or PPR has been reported. (hard to believe that only applicants outside these forum are getting it for so many days).

3) If July apps to be started from March 14 end, that means NDVO has to clear FSW 13 + May 14 + June 14 + Misc. cases within 30 days (Starting from tomorrow to 20th Mar 14).

4) For this to become reality, NDVO will have to realease atleast 40-50 DMs/PPRs per week (may be more then that) starting from tomorrow. - Unlikely to happen.

Even I wish that efforts u hv put in to get this information.. really come true.

But...somehow, uncertainity of NDVO has crushed every positive thoughts coming in mind.

Let's enjoy being puppet of NDVO..!!

Friends believe it or not. July applications PPR would begin March end and will continue early days in April - Its not a wild guess . I spoke to a ex Locally sourced Visa officer who confirms it.
If you ask me how did i get the contact - LinkedIn paid service and a little social engineering .........................

Hello Everyone,

I opened this account last week. I received an account number for Scotia Bank in about 5 working days. We can transfer upto $50,000 to this account before we reach Canada. The money must be transferred from your own account. It can not be transferred from someone else's account in India. You will also need a CA certificate saying the this money is tax paid.

Interesting...we were thinking of opening the account as soon as we get our visa stamped. So will this account balance be valid for proof of funds upon landing? Do you know?

Good one .. from what i have heard and given the trend. June 12th(mine) applicant PPR is expected, after mid-March.

@ bodhi79....do i require to maintain funds in my savings account or fixed deposit till the time i get the visit. I have sufficient funds i.e 19000CAD but i dont wanna keep it in FD or savings. Pls advice.

Guys I have to admit the fact that I did not get enough time to discuss the pending backlog. I was told that june will be out soon and expect July in March end. we will have to wait. The review order is what I have sensed it before

if the file get stuck anywhere, expect to face a long delay .
