Hello

My Application has reached to CIC on 30th Sept 2014 for NOC 2173.
I know the Cap is full , but I am waiting for my documents to be back so that I can think for EE.
and in those documents i have Fees DD from HDFC bank , which will be expiring soon.

I have sent them a mail, but no reply in 10 days. Can anybody suggest me for the same.

Thanks

Guys I need an urgent reply to 3 questions, please help me with your experience and knowledge

I received PPR from CPC-Ottawa and since I am residing at Kuwait, I sent CPC-Ottawa an email asking to transfer visa printing to Abu Dhabi Embassy.

My questions are

1) How long it is expected to take to hear from Abu Dhabi Embassy?
2) What is the minimum period any one experienced?
3) If I submitted my passports to a friend at Canada to finalize through CPC-Ottawa, is it allowable for him to receive my passports when they are sent back after stamping?

I need to finalize ASAP because I have a duty trip soon.

Hello people, I just want some clarifications here so that I don't argue blindly. If you have been refused a visa and you did not disclose to your form, can one be rejected for that?

If yes, my question is: how will they know

Thats quiet naive of u asking this question in todays technology they use. Are u talking abt rejection in Canada or some other country. Sorry but now a days all the information is shared via database. Usually usa and canada share databases and New zealand and australia share databases. Thats what i have heard. I am not sure if there is any mutual understanding from other countries to share between them or no.

mostly they dont cross-verify but they can and if found that otherwise then i am not sure what actions are taken. It is recommended to DISCLOSE all what is TRUE. Rejections do not negate ur file by any chance. they are not something to be ashamed of or nothing that is frowned upon by visa officers.

Good luck with ur application. nothing to worry abt.

Seniors:

Question please. How long will it take for a passport request? Im done with all medicals and PCC and 3rd line was updated 2 weeks ago to " medicals have been received" Im a bit worried since my work permit is expiring May 2015. Thank you so much Guys!

Takes between 2-4 months for ndvo after 3rd line update. Depends on ur visa office. should be somewhere around that time.

no need to worry..ur good.

For your last question can you consider posting it to the CPC-Ottawa thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fsw-2014-cpc-ottawa-visa-office-lets-connect-here-t250627.0.html

I have heard of people sending passports within Canada. I don't think CPC-Ottawa has a problem. If you send them a pre-paid Canada Post envelope with your friends address, they would gladly mail it to him.

On the other hand some countries like India for example do not allow you to send your passport out of the country you live in. Some courier services will not allow you to send passports internationally. Excluding all other problems, I don't think CPC-O would have a problem though.

You actually have two options.

First, if you feel that NDVO is going very slow on your application (actually NDVO is one of the faster VOs, so this does not help you) you can ask them to change your visa office to CPC-O. Depending on the status of your application this may take up to 2 months to transfer the file. You would need to prove you have a visa to stay for at least one year in the future if you are staying in a country not your home country for this.

Second, let NDVO process your application and approve your visa. When they send you PPR, tell them that you would like to print your visa in Canada.

Unless you see a big disadvantage in NDVO evaluating your application I suggest you wait for PPR. Once you get this you can request stamping to be done in Canada. You would delay the process by a month at most, but other than traveling to India you have no option. (Please, please, please, please don't even dare to send your Indian passport by mail to India. If they catch you, they would revoke it for a period of 3 to 5 years. Forget about Canada then.)

This may not be applicable to you, but to others: There is no requirement that PR visa stamping happen in the same country i.e. you could stamp your visa in one country and your family/dependents can do it in another country. This is not a problem, though it delays the process a bit.

Ohh dont worry i wont send passport via mail to India.. I have read about it. And thanks for warning me...+1 for that

I dont think NDVO is slow..they were pretty quick except for 3rd line update now...almost a month...i already received and completed medicals. NDVO asked me to send police check and other docs which i have sent them. it should reach within a week or so.

I will email them once they make a passport request to allow me to stamp here in canada. I was little confused as to which visa office to select during application. so i left it blank. CIC picked NDVO...haha

I am here till 2017 as of..so nothing to hurry up processing. was just curious.

Thanks for update...:)

That's great. I'm sure you will not have a problem printing the visa in Canada. It would delay your process by 3 weeks to a month. But that's not a lot. I wish you the best.

Dear seniors,

I have a question.

I applied through a representative (a lawyer in Canada)....so when they send me PER, will they send it ONLY to the lawyer or will they send it to me and lawyer BOTH?

I remember i filled up my email address in one of the forms and he also had mentioned his email address in the forms.

Looking firward to hear from you experts :)

Thank you!!
