*** My Doubt***
I have seen in the forum that some members from INDIA are mentioning of PCC taken from Passport Sewa Kendras!!!!
Are there different kinds of PCC??
Will I get a PCC request again? If so, where do forumites suggest a PCC should be taken from??
Both PCC are valid ,

Chooose which one is easy for you

I see the distinction, but can you tell me how you know your 2014 application did not even pass the first stage?

2 or 3 years is the same number of points. 4 years is more points, but it must be 4 years and not one day less. But if you got 10 for adaptability that shouldn't matter. What exactly does your letter say?
First I will talk about FSW2013 application-
Yes you are right 2 or 3 years is the same number of points which is 11 points
But in the mail it is clearly written that Yor were assigned 11 points for your 3- year work experience (01 October 2010 to present date)

They should write 11 points for your 2 year work experience as my application received date was 4th july 2013. But officer clearly mention 3 years.

Now I talk about FSW 2014 application-
If it pass the first stage my fees must be charged and I would get NER. (You can say I am wrong at this point)
If you say my application reach the point assessment stage in that case also I would get NER (CIC cant say my application has been considered incomplete and being returned) and they returned my DD without charging.

Well As much I know the Assessment process which was mention in CIC previously
it was written
Step 1- Basic eligibility Criteria (1 year full time work experience in last 10 years in intended occupation of NOC-0,A or B which is in the list of accepted occupations )
Step 2- Minimum eligibility Criteria(IELTS 6 each and foreign education must be assessed by authorised agency)
If application do not satisfy the above two criteria will be return to the applicant as incomplete and No fees will be charged and
Step 3- point grid system at this stage applicant should get minimum 67 point.
At this stage if applicant fails to get minimum point No fees will be returned.

So that is why I know that my FSW2014 application was returned at the first stage because letter says - The employment letters do not provide sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as described of the NOC 2243 therefore your application has been considered incomplete and being returned to you.

I hope now you would understand my point.

Hey guys ,

Just a small doubt with CoPR letter's - We received 2 copies of CoPR letter's for each member in our family.
One CoPR copy is having a photograph attached to it and the second copy is exactly the same but with no photograph.

Is this normal ? Or photographs should have been attached to both copies of CoPR letter ?

Hopefully in 2015 only
I received MR and RPRF request on 10th Feb 2015.

In the email NDVO had asked us to additionally submit all PCCs from UK (since my wife had lived there for 1 year in last 10 years), USA (since I had lived there for 2 years in the last 10 years) and all countries where we had lived for more than 6 months in the last 10 years. I was also asked to re-submit SCHEDULE A form for myself.

I completed all the actions I could by 14th Feb 2015, summarized as under:

1. I told NDVO via CSE that "My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our child in next few weeks. So, RPRF fees should be submitted now or shall we wait for additional documents of the new member to be added to our application first and then complete our medicals and pay RPRF for the entire family in one go?"

2. I also asked NDVO that "When the child is born, I understand I am supposed to submit new set of documents and application fees pertaining to the new family member. If you can share a checklist for additional documents needed for the child, it would be greatly appreciated."

3. I re-filled SCHEDULE A form addressing the specific points raised by NDVO, took a print and signed it. I sent to NDVO a scanned copy of signed SCHEDULE A form attaching it with the CSE. Then I sent the original signed SCHEDULE A form via speed post to NDVO at their Delhi address. In my CSE I also mentioned the speed post tracking number and tracking website.

4. UK Police PCC for my wife: I submitted the application as per guidance provided on CIC website. The PCC application reached UK on 16th Feb and I am expecting the certificate back within next 20 days. I sent NDVO a scanned copy of UK Police PCC application confirming my up-front action and telling them that it will be submitted on time.

5. FBI PCC for myself: I submitted the application as per guidance provided on CIC website. The PCC application will reach USA on 19th Feb. Likewise, I sent NDVO a scanned copy of FBI PCC application confirming my up-front action. I also told NDVO in my CSE that FBI's website says it will take maximum 16 weeks plus delivery time for the PCC to reach me so please grant me that much extension to submit FBI PCC.

6. India PCC for me and my wife: When I submitted the application in July 2014 I submitted India PCCs, signed and stamped by DCP (which satisfies CIC requirement for a non punjab indian resident). I told the same to NDVO in my CSE and re-attached scanned copies of earlier submitted India PCCs for their reference.

That's all I thought was in my control in addressing the NDVO requirements mentioned in their MR email. Now I have the following few concerns for which I have my fingers crossed and am assuming will be addressed by NDVO:

a) Considering my wife's pregnancy and new family member's addition, my MR will be put on hold till I submit all documentation pertaining to the new born applicant/family member.

b) There is also a relevant clause that all applicants need to secure PR cards within 1 year of appearing for MR tests. This is also a reason why ideally me and my wife should not appear for MR now and wait till all 3 family members are ready for it.

c) On my FBI PCC, I agree I have made a mistake of not having these PCCs made earlier. But this FBI 16 week delay came as a surprise to me. I really hope that NDVO will see it as a genuine problem and will give me at-least 16-17 week extension. That's precisely the reason that I shared scanned copies of the application for them to see my upfront actions.

WILL NDVO BE KIND ENOUGH TO INFORM ME THAT THEY HAVE REGISTERED ALL MY UPDATES AND HAVE PUT MY APPLICATION ON HOLD TILL I SUBMIT MY CHILD'S DOCUMENTATION, APPLICATION FEES AND TILL I RECEIVE AND SUBMIT MY FBI PCC?

Experts, please let me know what you think of my situation. Did I do all the right things? Have I missed addressing anything or sharing anything with NDVO here?

Dear Diplomatru/Members,

I have just recieved my VISA stamped from NDVO office with COPR copies-2 each for Principal and dependants application.

In addtition to above they have sent 3 pager instruction which has confused me, It would be really helpful if you can clarfiy them:

1> Do I need to wait further instruction in addition to VISA stamping from NDVO to travel to Canada or I can start booking now as I got my VISA.

2> Do my family members and myself needs to undergo again the medical check-up before leaving for Canada,if family composition is not changed.

3> I am planning to visit canda for 15days before the VISA expiry date due to some personal obligation to and come back to India, then how I can re-enter CANADA as the VISA issued is a Single entry one and I dont have PR card as I have not spend 730 days to Apply for PR card.

4> Is PR card issued to Immigrants as they land in Canada or after spending 730 days.

5> Do I need to carry all the funds which I have declared in my application form.

Thanks in Advance...

Now its clear , if you have not been charged fees in 2014 then NER case does not arise.

I would request you to send your experience letter still, others can better judge your mistakes , I feel

What your immigration lawyer will do for dollars, we are ready to do it with love and patience.

What other employment documents have you given with the application to prove your NOC?

The case handling officer who determines your NOC requirement is the final decision taker in this regard.

Any strict officer can go through nuances of your experience letter and can return it back,

While in 2013 you might have been lucky to get a good case handling officer

who has given away small deficiency.

Again i repeat , your experience letter is heart and soul of your application and it has to be 300% perfect.

So without seeing your experience letter neutral judgement is impossible buddy

Do not loose hope

Dear Friend,

It is normal, I have also received the same. In Fisrt Page of instruction para-6 it is clearly written "Both versions are valid"

Also,In the 3 pager instructon recieved along with the COPR and VISA(put in main applicant envelope),If you go on 3rd page under "THE PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD SECTION" paragraph-2, it is written that "The information and photograph on the Individual's Confirmation of Permanent Residence document is conformed by a CIC official upon a permanent resident's arrival in Canada"

I have one Query, is there any thing left to be recieved from NDVO or we can start booking tickets....???

Do we get PR Card during our first Visit or we need to earn it after spending 730 days...

My Landing Experience on Toronto Pearson airport

Today i will share my experience of my journey to Canada. I landed on 30th Jan in Toronto Pearson airport.

I choose Emirates(Dhaka to Toronto) and bought the tickets through IOM Bangladesh. They have very good rate for Toronto by emirates/turkish and qatar(not sure though) for Bangladeshi Immigrants. We got huge discount on tickets. Their usual price was 115,000 BDT per person and i paid only 71,094 BDT. Two tickets costed me 142,188 tk in economy class. Booked the ticket on 19th january and flight was on 29th Jan at 6.15PM.

Reached to the airport a bit early, 3 hours ago. We had 4 bags(3 of them were below 23kg and only one of them was 32kg for which we had to pay 50 USD for the extra weight) and 2 hand luggage. I will suggest to keep the hand bag/back pack light weight since you have to walk a lot in the airports. While we checked in emirates counter in Dhaka airport the person in the counter upgraded our seats to business class for free up to Dubai. BD immigration did not check so much.....so dont worry. Try to bring as much money as possible in hand bag or pocket. Share the money with all family members hand bag. Dont put it at one place. When i came ...i faced no issue in baggage checking.

We had our transit in Dubai for around 12 hours We reached in dubai at 9.55 PM and our flight to Toronto was in the next day at 10AM. The business class experience was really awesome in Emirates. It was a Boeing 777. Huge leg space and sleeping arrangement. Nice in flight entertainment system. Food was great. They served much foods....Nuts..fruits...even chocolates. Finest drinks like Chevas Regal..Martini..Beiles..even Champagne was for free. I had Chevas regal and Champagne. They served the drinks with nuts. Awesome service. Didnt notice when how it has been passed 05 HRS 40 MIN and we reached dubai. Then we landed at dubai airport. Such a big airport with awesomeness. We went to emirates bank counter in the airport for stamping our passports and then went to passport counters where the imigration officer provided our one day tarnsit visa on the go.Directions was really great in this big airport and we headed to out hotel in few mins. Loved the city on our way to hotel. The hotel was really nice including the food experience at dinner and breakfast. Ya...it was buffet. We ate a lot. :D :D :D. Dubai will be in my list to pass some days in my future tours. Seriously!

Then the morning came and we got ready for our next flight to Toronto. Its gonna be long journey of 15 hours. What the heck! Such a long journey. It was boring this time. Long long journey in the economy class. Felt like overpopulated cabin :p. But overall not that bad journey except the duration/15 hrs. Sleeping...watching movie...having food helped me to pass this long time.

At last, its the time to land in the dream land...ya..the Pearson Airport. The flight landed in time. It was around 3.30 PM. Lovely sunny day was outside of the plane. Felt really happy with looking at the sunny day since it was winter(-20 c) here. Ice and ice wherever eyes reach though it was a sunny day. I guessed winter is gloomy here. But i was wrong i guess. The day was bright. We landed in Terminal 3. Headed to immigration. There was no rush. It took only 15 mins. Provided the canadian address here. I gave the COPR and Passport and then went to the SIN counter to get the SIN number. There waited for 20 mins and we got the SIN number.

Then headed to the baggage counter. We provided the b4 form and good accompanying list there. The officer was happy to see that we printed the GOLD goods photo and he kept a copy of the lists. Thats it. We got the baggage in the chain ready. It took one hour to complete the landing process. Now its time to heading out of the airport. My friends were waiting there. Got an warm welcome :) :) :)

Then the morning came and we got ready for our next flight to Toronto. Its gonna be long journey of 15 hours. What the heck! Such a long journey. It was boring this time. Long long journey in the economy class. Felt like overpopulated cabin :p. But overall not that bad journey expect the duration/15 hrs.
