Don't put your papers till the time you have stamped PP in your hand. Never underestimate working style of CIC, so better have patience in everything.

I agree. I know couple of people who did that mistake. U never know your file can go in loop and background verification can happen any time. Search 2013 and other discussions. We have instances of vo requesting multiple medicals each year giving hopes and not doing much. There are guys with three medicals completed.

The best thing you can do or I would suggest is to focus on our career now and prepare well.

When I say multiple medicals it just because their medicals are expired

Pretty good message!

However, finding a job is in one's own hand (at least party)! But the speed of processing one's visa application for Canada is totally beyond our control so it's not very sensible to loose hope or become impatient. Worrying about something that is beyond one's own control can only do harm.

Best thing to do is be patient, be confident and MOST IMPORTANTLY KEEP BUSY. Start researching about accommodation, travel arrangements and shipping your stuff etc. to Canada. If you're busy working out things you'll have less time to worry.

We all wish that finding job doesn't become an issue for anyone of us!

And I'd like to highlight this and tell this to EVERYONE here: "DON'T ASSUME THAT FINDING JOB IN CANADA IS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT. DON'T AIM FOR LOW TARGETS AND SET LOW EXPECTATIONS." Just be prepared in case things don't workout exactly the way you want. However, be confident and aim for a competitive salary and a good job soon after landing.

I am telling this from my personal experience. I know people here in the UK who thought UK economy was in recession and it'll be tough to find a job, they struggled quiet a lot more and are paid less than those who were confident and had positive attitude. If you believe in yourself, do the right things ie. prepare proper CV, more importantly a good cover letter telling your story, apply thru right channels and be well prepared for interviews then you're sure to find a job you want!

Hello Jaxon911,

Yes its true. Well said. Usefull Info. One should be confident enough to face the interview. Every thing is a challenge. WE CAN DO IT...

Well Said

Should I apply for GCMS report and get the details? or email NDVO?
whats the procedure for obtaining the GCMS report.
26th May applicant here

Wait for some more days. In my opinion you should not email to NDVO but can give GCMS a chance (see http://www.caipsforyou.ca/ for GCMS)
Experienced May applicants can better suggest you

Hello Seniors,

Well after a dreadful 3 months wait for my FBI PCC :o :o :o :o, I finally submitted it to NDVO along with my local PCC's. 8) 8)

Meanwhile my wife and my new born baby boy also had their medicals done in first week of February.

Considering I sent all the docs today i.e 16th Feb , how many days/weeks/months wait before I get my Passport request? :) :) :) :)

Regards

Can you please elaborate on the verification episode. It would just throw some light into what could be the consequences. As a thumb rule, if CIC is convinced that an applicant misrepresented in the application, the application gets rejected and applicant may get a 2 year ban. However, whether this will apply to you will depend on what exactly happened during the site verification.

As per my knowledge, they will give you an opportunity to explain before issuing a verdict. Seniors can guide more.

HI Bains87,

What to do if cic has request for medicals and wife is pregnant, Because i know we can`t for X-ray Test during pregnancy. Will this leads to delay in process.

Hi shubham.maksi,

Congo on you PER.
Physical verification at work is not a mandate and depends on you processing officer if he feels the needs to trigger one.
Procedurally, it can happen at any stage before you land in Canada.
Usually it happens before MR.
All the best for rest of the process.

Thanks.. . Really appreciate that..

I told my boss about my application but I have not informed my team. If they call on my board line number which is mentioned on letterhead.. Then whole office will come to know about my application which I don't want as this is appraisal time and it my effect mine as it's been done by hod not by my boss.. thats why I am worried

Hi,
Im Dec applicant for NOC 1123. Jus called CIC to check my application status. The agent told that NOC 1123 is capped in oct 14 itself, n they might returned my file. :(
Now EE is the only hope.
This might be the reason that there were NO updates for this NOC, since oct.

How come?? Up until mid December the CIC site showed that there were only 385 apps out of 1000 for this NOC category. Are you sure it is 1123 (Marketing and Advertising professionals?)

:(

If NDVO file is transferred to Warsaw or Colombo, you will get a AOR form them advising you from this change.
As long you don't get such a mail, you can assume that NDVO is still your VO.

Thanks for your reply buddy!!...Original PCC already sent by me to NDVO that is the main concern :(

Regards

You mean that you have send your original PCC?---One original is with me

Have you retained any copy of it Yes, Sent scanned image on email id too

If not then try for another fresh PCC

Warsaw and Colombo both sends AOR

So until you get AOR do not be overenthusiastic in sending docs to any VO.

You can not expect any VO to be carefully keeping your docs, witout your file
in their hand

Do not worry

Thanks for your reply
