Hello,

I would appreciate any insight because the anxiety is reflecting on my physical well being.

I have managed to apply on December 15th 2014 for FSW, under Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations (NOC 1123).

According to DHL, someone at the designated address (CIC in Nova Scotia) has received my file.

But since then I have received no confirmation or any sort of message from CIC or any other party regarding the status of my application. I am not even sure if they actually received it (although DHL has a signed reception report confirming it).

Any idea how can I follow it up? Should I be more patient? The cheque which I sent and my credit card are both not processed for the fee yet.

Does the lack of communication mean I failed?

Last Saturday CIC was charging the 22nd December Applicants (We believe CIC is working on Saturdays now). Since you have sent 2 options to charge DD (i believe u mean by cheque is a DD) and Credit card they might have chosen your DD as the payment mode. That may be the reason why you still haven't got any update. Usually you can only know whether your DD is encased after 3 to 10 working days. If it's a CC the bank will send you a sms immediately (depending on the bank your card issued) .
Anyway, my above explanation is true provided that your NOC is not capped.

We have a December applicants time line thread. Please come there and read through the posts there from the beginning, you will be able to gather loads of valuable knowledge.

FSW 2013 application-
01 October 2010 to 4th july 2013(application recieved date at CIC) - is also not 3 years (2 years 9 month)
27th November 2013 CIC send me NER- mentioning 11 points are assigned for 3 years work experience(01 october 2010 to present date)

FSW 2014 application-

its not matter of points. this time application has been returned. application did not reach the point Assessment stage.
if it reached the point assessment stage then
01 October 2010 to 17th september 2014 (application received date at CIC) is also not 4 years (3 years 11 months 15 days)
if CIC assign me even 11 points for 3 years , I have also Adaptability 10 points (my wife IELTS and 2 years of her canadian education)



Last year my application received date was 4th july 2013.
And I got NER on 27th November 2013 in which they mentioned I was assigned 11 points for my 3 years work experience (01 October 2010 to present date ).

This year my application received date was 17th September 2014.
And I got my application returned, not NER. Just to correct you that my application did not reach to point assessment stage. CIC assess the points after Fees charging which is the last step.

Step 1 - Basic Eligibility criteria (1 year full time work experience in the intended NOC occupation in last 10 years )

As this stage my FSW 2014 application is returned by considering incomplete. It is not refused. MY FSW 2013 application passed this stage.

Step 2- Minimum Eligibility Criteria (EDUCAtion must assess by authorised agency and IELTS 6 each )

At this stage my FSW 2014 application did not reach . My FSW 2013 application passed this stage.

Step 3- Point grid sytem
At this stage my FSW 2014 application did not reach. MY FSW 2013 application reached at this stage after charging my fees.

And My FSW 2013 application got refused because i Scored 61 points only.

This is to bring to your attention that the area pincode 4*****4 is stated incorrectly in the PER , AOR mail and ECAS system, the correct are pincode is 4****1. The same is reflected in my application and the passport (attached to the mail).

Thank you sir. If Dec. 22 applicants have already started to get charged, and I am a Dec. 15 applicant, then this calls for a lot of tears

I will double check with my bank to see if the draft payment has been processed by Receiver General Canada or not.

There used to be a link to monitor the cap progress on all the eligible job titles, anyone can share it please? Wonder if 1123 has capped out.

Also, do they correspond in any way with the applicant if his/her application fails? Or complete silence does the trick?

kindly be a little more patient.. i thnk they will use your dd = it takes another 3-4 days. check with your bank in a week. good luck
