Dear brothers,

I did the medical exams one month ago and have already been updated the 3rd line. My wife's FBI PCC was pending in order for the VO to proceed. I got to send it yesterday, before the deadline.

Gave a call to VO today and the Lady confimed they received the document. In addition she said I should expect to hear from them shortly.

The question is : Any chances they are still running background checks or assessments? What are the chances to be rejected at this point?

Thank you brotherhood!

Chances of rejection 0.01%. Only if you fail Security, which is unlikely. Now is the time you should stop thinking or worrying about getting rejection.

Thanks guys!!

I had also applied for GCMS last month. I guess I won't be needing those anymore. So many PPRs yesterday including mine, glad to see Ottawa waking up :)

Good luck everyone!

I wish they would wake up as I have heard nothing since November, no response to CSE emails, fax or GCMS request

Congrats with the progress.
You seem on the brink of your PPR.
Usually a rejection at this stage is quite rare. (Not impossible).
In effort to multi-task they could have run parallel checks while issuing MR.
Criminality check I believe are always triggered post MR so they for certain are happening or have been completed.
All the best and hope to hear good news soon from you.

yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ Friends.. just received my PER

USMAN:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.
