[size=15pt]Finally received Passport Request Today.

Thanks to all of u, for ur prayer...

Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee... :)

Hey Goku, I just noticed that you were called in for an interview after your Meds? Is that normal? I thought the medical request is done after the interview is done or waived?

Also, you have given three dates for your medicals? Did they ask you to get them done three different times?

Sorry if you've already shared your story, I've obviously missed it and am curious.

Thats normal for those whose application is Processed at New York VO. They first issues MR along with Document request (to avoid waste of time), and then after reviewing additional documents if required they call in for interview.

Btw I don't have 3 dates for Medical. It is for additional Documents requested. :)

I am PM you my interview experience.

Hello seniors!

I have one question: For getting Job for spouse after visa approval, does Spouse need to take IELTs? is IELTs mandatory OR they can search freely once after Visa stamp, please advise?

Appreciate your help!

Once you are landed you are entitled to work in Canada. There are no further requirements.

@Canbd, @rejiss, @Amitesh Singh, @future_canadian, @NRI16
Thanks guys!!

I had also applied for GCMS last month. I guess I won't be needing those anymore. So many PPRs yesterday including mine, glad to see Ottawa waking up :)

Good luck everyone!

Usually within a week to a month you should get MR. There are cases where people get MR later than that also.
A lot of it will depend on the complexity of your file and the VO officer working on it.
Not all VO's send AOR. Acknowledgement of Receipt is usually the first communication for some VO's post PER.
NDVO for e.g. does not give AOR.
All the best with your process and do keep the forum updated.
