This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.


Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

nowdays I m hearing that the amount of cash you can take out of Pakistan has been reduced to USD5000 per adult and USD2000 per child above 10 years age. whats reality about this limit? does fia or security person do a through search? like if I divide cash in 3 or 4 places.....two pouch I carry like one in my pocket and one in hand bag........two my wife carry or any other distribution....I have heard and read that people easily carry that much amount without any hassle or problem.

if I carry USD20000 in cash......me my wife and kid travelling.........than will there be any problem? I will be going thru Dubai via emirates.......are there any restrictions on entering Dubai with that much cash?

Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee...

BTW did your wife sent a letter of withdrawal signed by her attached with that email ? You might not need it but just asking.

I also have asked CPC-O to withdraw my other application, and on very next day in reply they asked me to provide them with withdrawal letter signed by PA.

Hey Goku, I just noticed that you were called in for an interview after your Meds? Is that normal? I thought the medical request is done after the interview is done or waived?

Also, you have given three dates for your medicals? Did they ask you to get them done three different times?

Thanks to Almighty !!! Our Canadian PR Visa processing has been completed..

There were some troubles , waits and other stuffs which was testing our patience but all ended well.

Thank God !! Thanks to all the forum members for all the support and help provided to each other ( not naming anyone specifically ) !!
Really this platform is a great help to understand and resolve most of the issues related with the process with the help from others..

All the very best to each and every one ..........Now off to the next step...
