Dear seniors,

i m december 16 th applicant. i think i forget to enter ( :o) email in generic app.

is there any way to correct it now ?????

or my journey is over ???

Plz help.

Ratul,
If you forgot to enter email, they will communicate with you through post which will take a few days extra. I guess, once you get your PER, you can let them know your email ID. Seniors please advise.

I think in such a case, you will still be eligible but get snail mail.
Once you have your per, update your email.

After waiting 3 months for my 3rd line (MR received) and another 2 months...finally received PPR request yesterday at 10.30PM EST! Can't believe the guys were working so late in the night. Am super thrilled and would just like to tell everyone to hang in there!

Just mailed my passport via. Canada Post. Will go through landing and post about my experience as soon as passport comes back with the coveted maple leaf.
Congrats...good luck for your future...+1

Hey ratul,

You can send an email to CIC mentioning your details like first and last name Passport date and place of birth etc requesting them to add the email id using a cover letter and attach the refilled generic form signed after which it should be scanned.
If you dont add the email they would send mail to the communication address you mentioned in the generic form by post.

You wont be out of the game just for not mentioning the email id.
To avoid the above situation it is advised to have a copy of the filled forms or scanned copy of the same for reference.

5 Dec PER
29 Jan Processing Started
Some people NDVO have got medicals with these dates!
When can i expect my medical?
PCC+MR+RPRF would all come togather now?
Anyone who can guide...
Tensions huge!!! :o :'( :-X :-[ ::) >:( :(

Hi Iqjot,

Do Not worry, it all depends on application to application. you will soon get the reply soon from NDVO.

So, while processing your application they will send out the initimation document for Medicals.

Yes, all 3, i.e., Medical, PCC and RPRF will come together. you need to send them together as well.

Hope this helps...

Hi,
Thank all of you who are helping each other and sharing information.
one month before my credit card charged against my FSW application.
I have question can any body help me to tell procedure how can I check my application status.
still I am waiting for my PER and UCI #.
Thank in advance for reply

Hi Amirali,

Please can you share your timelines, appln recvd date, VO etc?

Once your application will be processed at the respective VO, you will get the respective application number and UCI #.

thereafter you can simply check the status on ECAS

here is the link :-

Update:

Was passing days with lots of anxiety....

[size=15pt]Finally received Passport Request Today.

Thanks to all of u, for ur prayer...

Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee... :)

If you already have a UCI# from a previous application, you can send them an email requesting them to update your email address in your application. If not, wait till you get a PER (thru snail mail) and send a CSE to your VO requesting them to use the email address for further correspondence.

Absence of email address doesn't really mean that your journey is over. Though it does mean that mode of communication would be snail mail and waiting time would be much longer than the others who have mentioned email address in the generic form.

Vish.777.....cheers mate..did u added BENJAMIN papers in your file...how else you got your AOR so quick (16 days of PER...)?...
please share the trick :P :D

Lol

Indian tricks do not work with the CIO buddy :P

I am hoping the Warsaw visa office has started to work quicker to keep up with the pressure from its higher authorities (I atleast hope).

If they are consistent with the following steps I wouldnt mind appreciating their efforts with a few BENJAMINs (just joking). ;D
