Service standard

CIC’s goal is to process all applications we get as of June 26, 2010, under the Federal Skilled Worker Program within 12 months. In order to process an application, we must have all information and supporting documents.

This service standard was implemented in September 2011.


That means, 12 months should be Max. for most of the applicants under FSW.!

I would suggest using VFS why you want to take risk of loosing if you have that thought on mind cause NDVO does not send through courier.
Courier is preferred for sending docs ASAP but VFS is authorised party to do such actions so VFS even if it is lil far i have to travel 15 to 20 kms to reach vfs once i get PPR i think i will be more than happy to do that cause i dont want any issue to happen at this stage and increase my wait time

I guess we can send Passports by VFS in out city too. Make an inquiry about this at VFS. Because many people suggest VFS facility to use for visa stamping.

Hello All,

On a different note we have noticed that many people are asking questions wihtout even looking out for a reply from the previous post which if not replied are being posted again and again with bold letters and colors.

I would recommend them to check the answer using the search function on the top right hand corner by putting the string of the query you are looking for.
It is beneficial cause when we have a query we dont have wait for the reply we can always have a reply from the past posts.
I think by now most of the possible scenarios are posted and probably replied.
If it is specific or unique query then we would like to know about and gain info around the same and reply back which might help others.

Thanks all the best.. i know i keep motivating myself with everybody to make sure i keep waiting till the time comes which i guess is one or two more months to complete 3 months of wait after MR received or 3rd line update.

Having said above we are not running away from queries but again lil home work would enable everybody with info and add more hands to help new or people waiting for various stages.
