HI Guys ,

Finally Big Relief, Got my PER :D :D

App Date: 24-nov
CC- : 20- Jan
PER : 12-Feb
NOC : 2172

Hi shubham.maksi,

Congo on you PER.
Physical verification at work is not a mandate and depends on you processing officer if he feels the needs to trigger one.
Procedurally, it can happen at any stage before you land in Canada.
Usually it happens before MR.
All the best for rest of the process.

Thanks for the good hopes, pg123 .
Yeah I did confirm that the dr. sent mine on Dec 11th and my wife's on Dec 22, and that's it. No word from CPC,
Have sent 2 Case specific inquiry on Jan 10 and Feb 1. and NO response yet.

Also I had sent them a change of address on Dec 25, and NO update about it either.

I guess they just kept my case 'on hold' from some unknown reason.

did u order GCMS?

Hi all ..still i'm not getting any news from NDVO...I already sent mail last month...still no reply from the NDVO....any idea

Raising a GCMS notes request might a good option to understand the hold up.
Also, when you say, email, you mean a CSE, right?

hahahahahah i can understand your desperation.
Same here. even i am 9th may applicant in Same Category 2281.

Hello wonderful people. Many of you know my situation. Finally I got a reply from NDVO:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

As you are currently in USA, you are advised to submit your passport to our office in New York after you receive the passport request letter from them.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Immigration Section/ Section de l’immigration
High Commission of Canada/ Haut-Commissariat du Canada
PO Box 5209
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi, India/Inde 110021

==============================================

So as per my understanding i will get a new passport request letter from New York Visa office
and my current PPR from NDVO stands cancelled. So now again the wait begins for PPR from NY VO

Hope this clears one more thing to everyone in similar condition (In US and VO is NDVO). You need to raise a CSE and hope that reply comes in time.

Good luck to everyone..

Good luck to everyone..

this is indeed very helpful..thank you... now its clear that if you can go back to your country (if you can) that is always the best option, unless you have time on your side to go to Canada.

Congrats. ATB for rest of the procedure.

NOC 2171 one of the so called hot NOCs.
App received date 3rd July, PER 28th Oct, NDVO
No second line update and no MR/PCC yet.

Have given all conceivable documents notarized, including work experience letters in required format, educational creds etc.
If CIC is in doubt and wants any specific supporting document why doesn't it ask the applicant instead of keeping the person in the dark?

It pains to wait and it would have been so much better if the process was more transparent.
Instead of just showing an "in process" status, why doesn't CIC make GCMS notes available to applicants real time so that everyone is appraised of his/her application status at all times?

Why do they call it first come first served?
NDVO and CIC processes have left so much wanting..

Am losing my mind as so many of life and career decisions hinge on that thing called PR.
Just motivational words are not enough to pep oneself up.. especially after witnessing people who applied in 2013 for NDVO still waiting for MR.
Had not wanted anything else so desperately in life as the PR.

Please PM me to let me know what might be going on in the background my friends so that I can take any necessary action to speed up processing.
If not for the forum so many people would have felt let down by the whole application process.

regards,
Kishcanada

I can understand your pain brother...I am also in same boat. Frustrated with this waiting....And get more flustered if I see someone applied after a month than me getting upates from NDVO.

There are lot of reasons

1. file is not assigned to an officer . lying still with registry ( File ready for processing)
2. They misplaced the file( less chance )
3. instead of NVDO , they routed wrongly to your file another location ( it happens lot of times)
4. assigned visa officer is left and your file is waiting for second assignment

I would recommend the following

1. Raise GCMS notes
2. send an Email with URGENT tag

Good luck friend.

have you raised a CSE ? why don't we send an Email with URGENT : Tag

Hi adisu01,
Thanks for the inputs.

I raised GCMS early this week through CAIPS.CA and will probably get it by mid to late March.

What is CSE? How do I raise one if required and how will it help me?

Thanks and regards,
Kishcanada
